Mad for Monday: Oil Edition

Today's edition of Mad for Monday has gone a bit oily! I'm sharing a few oils and products that we've been Mad For lately!
First up, Young Living's KidScents collection! Young Living has recently re-branded their labels on the KidScents collection and they're super cute!

Our favorites include Tummygize, Sleepyize, and Sniffleease!

When the girls complain of their belly's, we apply Tummygize. It provides instant relief and it's safe for kiddos!

Sleepyize helps the girls fall asleep fast.... and stay asleep! We diffuse this in their rooms often!

And Sniffleease is a favorite as flowers are blooming, and our Oklahoma weather has been up and down!
I was loading the dishwasher the other day and opened up a sippy cup that had been hiding, and ugh, the milk that came out of that cup was nasty! Unfortunately, it left a yucky smell in our disposal, so I grabbed a bottle of Christmas Spirit and put a drop down the sink and turned on the disposal. And, the smell was gone!
We're Mad for Natives in our house, but they can get yucky! I threw them in the sink with hot water and a capful of Thieves cleaner.....
And bam, they look new again!
Since switching to essential oils, we don't use candles, so I often like to diffuse oils to not only reap the therapeutic benefits, but also for our house to smell good. I haven't diffused Lemongrass before, but it totally smells like fruit loops! Lemongrass and Peppermint made for a combination I was Mad for!
After returning from our Disney cruise, I was feeling exhausted, and I was determined to get back to normal! I finished off a pouch of Young Living's Ningxia Red, took a Super B, and diffused Motivation.

Ningxia Red is an antioxidant drink that is amazing for you! It contains wolfberries, and provides energy.

And friends, if you're a woman you need to be taking a B vitamin. Super B is a fabulous supplement for energy.

And motivation, not only got my booty in gear, but the girls helped to step up and clean the house the day I diffused it too!
My March Young Living order, contained lots of products that we go Mad for! I ordered two bottles of Ningxia. Adalyn loves to drink it! And then I ordered the Animal Scents Shampoo for our pup. A Thieves foaming hand soap refill....I plan on grabbing some cute soap dispensers and placing them in the bathrooms. And then I ordered the Kidscents Shampoo & Bath Gel for the girls! I'm so thankful that I'm putting safe shampoos & soap on their body!

In March, I received Fruit & Veggie spray, Thieves, Blue Cyprus, Lime, Lavender and Frankincense for free!

I always go Mad when I receive FREE products! And in March, I received 6 of them!
I also ordered the Theives Essential Rewards Kit, and someone on my oil team is receiving it for free!!!! I can't wait to find out who the winner is!
And finally, let's chat about Slique CitraSlim! These are supplements that you take twice a day and they  help to control your sugar cravings! I have a major sweet tooth, and can't turn down chocolate! And around 2 pm every day, my hunger kicks in, and I don't always make the best choices. Thankfully, my appetite is controlled and I'm turning down chocolate since I began using CitraSlim!
And finally, I want to offer you the Happy Oiler Hookup!!!!

You've heard me chat about essential oils, and how we're sleeping better, feeling better, and using non-toxic products, and I want you to benefit from this starter kit too! Anyone that purchases this week, we'll receive $25.00 cash back from me! All you have to do is email me, or leave a comment on the blog with your email! You can also learn more here.

Do you use Young Living essential oils? I'd love to know which products you're Mad For!

Mad for Monday: Swimwear Edition

We are officially on the Spring Break count down! In just a few days,  we're heading somewhere tropical, I thought I'd round up a few of my favorite swimwear pieces for today's Mad for Monday!

I usually don't shop swimwear so early in the season, but I've been able to find several swimsuits that I love! Now, I'm not one to spend more than $50.00 on a swimsuit. I'm sorry, I just can't bring myself to do it, and my Target swimsuits have held up just as well, as when I was crazy enough to drop a ton of cash on other swimwear.
I tried on this tankini  while I was at Target the other day. I loved the top (and it has straps you can add), and it's also flowly, providing you with some comfort if you're not pleased with your waistline at the moment. But, I didn't purchase it, because I wasn't in love with the bottoms I had grabbed. Now, what I love about Target's separates, is that I can grab a top in one color and a bottom in another color. I have a tankini that I've had for several years, and I love being able to mix and match the bottoms of the suit, so I feel like I have more options.

I had some Old Navy supercash to spend a few weeks ago, so I ordered this Ruffle shoulder swim suit in black and I love it! I wanted something that was going to give me the look that I've spent the money without actually spending the money, and I think that the ruffle detail does just that. Plus, it has a "tape of sorts" inside, so your suit will stay up on the non strap side. And, the ruffle goes all the way around. It's not just in the front. Now, this suit does not have cup support, so if you're chesty, I wouldn't grab this one. But the ruffle does help to cover up your girls!
I also tried on this Crochet swimsuit from Target. Again, I loved the detail. Unfortunately, the top was too big for me, so I didn't grab it.
I did however get this, Shirred Bandeau swimsuit from Target. And, I love it. The shirring across the suit helps provide a slimming effect. Plus, it's an actual color, and I was pretty proud of myself!
I love this suit, and the cut out. I've kind of decided that for now, a one piece or a tankini is best for my body style, but I have always felt more comfortable in a two piece. I think this suit gives a little bit of both.
I also really like this suit. The top is reversible, and I love the coverage that it provides. And, the bottoms have a great cut, and are also reversible.

While on the hunt for swim suits, I also love finding a great cover up! Thankfully, I found two options from Target, that I loved.
This Woven Swim Cover Up is super cute! It reminds me of a dress, and I'm going to pair it with my black suit from Old Navy. It is sheer, and it's fitted at the waist.
And, I loved this Cover Up Dress from Target. It will be perfect for the ocean's breeze, and if the weather is a little cooler than we expect!

Okay, tell me.... are you still rocking the bikini, a tankini, or a one piece? Which look is your favorite?

Mad For Monday: Shop Tailgate

Happy Monday friends! We're out of school today for President's Day so the big girls and I are running errands, and I am taking Adalyn to school for the day!
Every other week, I like to bring you Mad for Monday, where I share what I'm going mad for, and today, I'm sharing a new shop..... Tailgate

Tailgate is owned by a fellow coach's wife, who lives in Texas! Channa and her husband have an adorable little girl, and I love her heart for clothing.
Tailgate has an adorable line of graphic tees. I'm totally a t-shirt girl so their tees totally speak to my heart. I go mad for a comfy t-shirt and dressing it up with a kimono, wrap, or jacket.
Speaking of kimono's, I love this one from Tailgate. The fringe, the flowers, the bright colors.
I also, love this dress! An off the shoulder, maxi dress.... yes, please! I'm going mad for you.
And, how cute is this camo dress? Throw it on with a military jacket, add some booties, (I recently bought these) and you can transition in to spring, pair with a pair of converse, for an easy summer look.
I'm grabbing this top for sure! I love the casual look of the split shoulders, and I love how this top flows.
This top is on sale, but it's not available in my size, or I would be grabbing it for sure! I love the wise dolman sleeves on this top. And, it looks particularly cozy!

Floral tops are still in style, and I love that I can pair this one with a jacket, and wear it with shorts this summer.
And, I'm going mad for this pineapple top! And pssst, it's on sale!
This poncho is on sale too! I'm mad for the gingham and fringe!
And, this shirt is only available in a large, and it's on sale! It runs big, and I'm mad for it, but since it's not available in my size, one of you should snag it up!

How cute are these clothes? I'm seriously mad for Tailgate, and you can be mad for them too!

Head to Tailgate and use code ELAINEW to take 10% off your order!

You can find Tailgate, on Instagram here!

Enjoy your President's Day!!! See y'all back on Wednesday for What's Up Wednesday!

Mad for Monday: Valentine's Edition

So, who is trying to recover from the Super Bowl?

DJ and I didn't have company over and we opted to just stay at home, but we made a cheese ball, a  huge pot of gumbo, chocolate chip cookies, and we ate until our tummy's were well past full and watched the Super Bowl together. And, can I just say... how much did you love Lady Gaga's performance last night? I mean, she totally won that Super Bowl.

So, today, I'm sharing what I'm Mad for right now.... and since we're so close to Valentine's Day, I thought I'd share a few things I'm going mad for!

This weekend, I broke out the Valentine Day decorations and got the house ready for the holiday!
I pulled out lots of pink and red for our dining room table.
Pink chevron fabric made a perfect little table runner, and I set out our red chargers so we could use those rather than placemats. I have an obsession with paper straws, and added those to our dining table as well. Several years ago, I threw my sister in law a baby shower and made these little burlap-wraped jars, which worked perfect for our straws. And while I don't burn candles anymore, I still have a few for decorations.
Our Bible verse for the month is all about love.... Yesterday, Gretchen asked "So, we love others because Jesus loved us first? And without Jesus we wouldn't love each other?" Yes ma'am.
And how cute are these little envelopes? I found these at Target for like $3.00 several weeks ago, and this weekend, I broke out my embroidery machine and added the girls monogram to each one. I added some ribbon and tied them to their dining room chairs, and I thought it would be fun to sneak a little surprise in to them every once in a while.
I was going to surprise the girls with them, but since I am never not around my kids, there wasn't a good time to get them monogrammed without them knowing! So, I let each of the girls pick out their thread color and ribbon color.
How cute are these little magnetic pads from the Dollar Spot at Target? I'm totally mad for Target's Dollar Spot.
And over on our little nook, I added a fun fabric banner, canvas' that the girls made last year, and some cute little paper plates.
I mean, aren't these just the cutest?
Last year, I gave the girls a canvas, and let them have at it, and they created a cute little Valentine's canvas.
I made the banner for Megan's 1st birthday party, and it just so happens to work perfectly for Valentine's day!
And then I added this little heart "wreath" to our pantry door.

And, if you're looking for a few little Valentine's gifts, I have a few ideas for you!
This cute little mug would be adorable for your child's teachers....especially if you fill it with their favorite candy!
A trinket dish is a perfect gift for a co-worker!
I added a chevron pillow to our sofa, but I'm eyeing this one too!

This year, I plan on throwing the girls a little Valentine's day breakfast. I picked up new heart shaped plates for each of them, and will probably just make it easy with yummy doughnuts, fruits, and other Valentine themed food.

Mad for Monday: Rustic Cuff Edition

Happy Monday friends!!! We had a relaxing weekend, and I'm ready to take on the week! It's birthday week around here..... Gretchen is turning 9!!! More on that later, today we're gushing over Rustic Cuff on today's edition of Mad for Monday! Where twice a month, I share products and items that I'm completely madly in love with!

Shortly after moving to Oklahoma, I heard of a company called Rustic Cuff. At the time I didn't pay much attention to it. The owner, Jill, was making bracelets out of her home, and they were quickly becoming a hit.  About two years ago, I the bracelets were popping up more and more and a storefront had opened, and I began paying more attention to the bracelets.

You see, I'm not a huge necklace fan... (I want simple necklaces that won't tangle around in my hair), but bracelets.... oh, give me a good bracelet and I'm a happy girl. In fact, cuff bracelets (wide bracelets) are my go-to. I love bracelets that make a statement. Which, is exactly what Rustic Cuff bracelets do.
Rustic Cuff bracelets are meant to be stacked.... or mixed and matched. And, the more bracelets, the better.

The black charay came in a Cuff of the Month club box that DJ signed me up for last May for Mother's day.... I received four months of cuff May through August.

The "girl mom" cuff, was a Christmas gift to myself this year, and the buckle cuff was a Christmas gift last year. (My calfskin cuff is currently on sale!)
Rustic Cuff bracelets also play nicely with others. Rustic Cuff often will have sells through The View or Good Morning America, which is where I bought the navy calf skin bracelet.
This gold cuff (similar here) is perhaps my favorite. It was another Cuff of the Month, and I absolutely love that it's wide, so I can wear it alone. It's one of my go-to bracelets.
My Tulsa football stack is one of my favorites. Our head coach's wife gifted us these last Christmas, and I wore them to every football game this fall, and I was wearing them when we won the Miami Beach Bowl.

My sister in law gifted me these for Christmas. They were a cuff of the month, and I kicked myself that month for not joining in! I was so excited to receive these and they mix and match so many outfits! (Gold cut out with silver gem similar here)
Rustic Cuff bracelets also come in fun colors! I don't wear purple often, but managed to receive these purple bracelets through the Cuff of the Month or as gifts. The purple leather bracelet was a replacement after loosing my very first cuff bracelet that I had purchased.

R.C. has amazing customer service. If beads have broken, or bracelets have been lost, I've been able to run to the store and receive a replacement at no additional cost.

Psst... my purple Emerson (the beaded bracelet) can be found here
I've also received several pink bracelets over the years...

Last year, my grandmother and DJ's grandmother passed away. As a gift to each of our mothers, we engraved their mother's handwriting in their very own cuff
I took in a copy of their handwriting, and R.C. was able to engrave their signature or handwriting on a custom cuff. This may by far, be the most meaningful cuff that I've purchased and I know that our mother's enjoy wearing them and having their mothers a little bit closer.

As you can see, I'm totally Mad for Rustic Cuff.

R.C. has made a lot of appearances in the blog over the years....

You can check out Rustic Cuff online, here, find their Facebook page here, or join their Facebook fan group here
