Shutter Love Tuesday: Eyelashes

I haven't participated in Shutter Love Tuesday from Trendy Treehouse in quite a while, but when I read what today's theme was, this picture of Gretchen instantly popped into my head. The picture was taken by Captured & Framed photography, when Gretchen was a year old. It's absolutely one of my favorites, and it shows her amazing eyelashes. And, it brings back a flood of memories of how much she has grown over the last two years!

I haven't participated in Shutter Love Tuesday (from Trendy Treehouse) in a few weeks, but when I went to check my facebook and saw the update that the theme was up, I decided to add a photo from this weekend.

Gretchen doesn't get to enjoy popsicles too often, but I love that she's going to take a huge bite of this!

We use to have so many pictures of our pup, but as Gretchen gets older these are getting fewer and fewer! We do love her though- despite the hair and the mud she brings into the house!
Introducing.......... Bailey!.......... I bet a lot of you didn't know we had a pup of our own- poor DJ, he's stuck in a house full of hormonal women!

Today's theme from Shutter Love Tuesday, hosted by Trendy Treehouse is: Mother's Love. This was one of the first pictures of Gretchen and myself. I have never felt so much love for someone in my life. I knew how amazing she was the minute I saw her, and 2 1/2 years later, she continues to amaze me.

I snapped the photo above while we were visiting my mother-in-law over spring break in March. My neices are jumping around on her bed, while my nephew is playing his video game, and Gretchen is in the background trying to escape the mayhem!

I was so excited when I read "water" because a few months ago, I snapped some pictures of Gretchen playing in the tub. I love that this photo captured the water flying through the air as she was splashing and the look of enjoyment on her face!

I chose one of Gretchen's 1 year pictures! We tied the balloons to her wrist and she was trying to crawl away from them!

Sadly, my camera card is actually IN my camera and not shoved into the computer like it normally is, so I dug through my old files and found this picture of Gretchen when she was just 3 months old.

The theme for today's Shutter Love Tuesday is "pink", so here's my little honey in her pink hat and snuggled in with her pink blanket before we went out on a jog!
