December came in after a super busy, fun filled November, and to be honest, we weren't really sure what all December would have in store for us. It might be one of the craziest December's we've had in a long time!
After the SEC championship game, DJ was home one Sunday evening- so we were able to finally decorate the tree that had been up for several weeks already! And honestly, the girls are old enough now that I basically got to sit back and watch and make a few little adjustments!
We had family football dinner one evening, and afterwards, we headed to look at the lights on campus.
We made chocolate covered potato chips for our neighbors and some of the football staff!
And I was able to start wrapping Christmas gifts super early!
And wouldn't you know, this is the girls Santa picture this year because I wasn't able to take them to Bass Pro to get one! But, with the way the season was shaping up- this is the perfect Santa pic!
We were in the 1st round of the College Football Playoffs, and had a home game against Clemson.
One last time in DKR for the season.
Thank goodness I leave a blanket in DJ's office! It was a bit chilly!
And that win, meant we wouldn't be going to Arkansas for Christmas- but we would be traveling to the Peach bowl!
The girls even saw the governor on the field after the game, so we had to get a picture! How fun!
Adalyn even had him sign her jersey that she's been collecting autographs on all year.
