Wednesday What?!

Happy Wednesday! This week has been crazy for us! DJ is in the midst of football practice and we've had so many afternoon activities. I'm swamped and ready for the weekend!

Here's a little Wednesday What?! for you today.

What I've Been Wearing....
I loved this maxi dress so much that I went ahead and ordered another color! It's lightweight, has pockets, and is perfect for Spring and Summer.

What We've Been Eating.....
Did you check out my last Costco haul?  We're eating lots of fruits & veggies, and I've loved these storage containers for them!

Lots of quick meals around here, but if you're needing meal plans, then check out my girl Andrea! She sends us weekly meal plans that are so easy and delicious and it's just $5.00 a month!

What I'm Loving.....
This nail glue makes reapplying nails that fall off, a breeze! I keep one in my purse and one at home, just in case I have a nail that comes off before I'm ready to change out the set!

What I've Been Baking.....
Over the weekend, I made two loaves of sourdough bread! So, so good! The entire process is just soothing to me and it's a hobby that I love! I definitely wish I had more time for more baking.

What We've Been Up To......
Megan and I made a Target run over the weekend.
Gretchen and I spent the entire day Saturday shopping together for her Easter dress and a dress for her school dance. We grabbed dinner and had the most perfect day.
Adalyn's been at all the Easter egg hunts!
And has been loving soccer! She just has a few more games left, but she's already ready to play again!

What We've Been Watching..

Adalyn's favorite is Good Luck Charlie. DJ and I are watching American Idol, and I just finished watching The Woman In the House Across from The Girl in the Window. I loved it!

What I'm Reminiscing About....
All the Spring games. Texas has it's Orange & White game next weekend, and all of my Spring game memories have been popping up on Facebook.
Look how little they were!
And our first Orange & White game ever. Gosh, they were so tiny!

What I'm Proud Of....
We've known for a while, but it's finally official! DJ is the Big 12 Video Coordinator of the Year! He works so hard taking care of the coaches and players and all of their video and technology needs. I see him go above and beyond every single day; his commitment is incredible; we are so stinking proud of him! Next month, he and I are heading off to his convention where he'll be awarded with other video coordinators from around the country. These are the men that are behind the scenes and so often go unnoticed, but the coaches can't do what they do without them.

Happy Wednesday friends!

Wednesday What?!

It's been a sweet forever since I've posted a Wednesday What?!

One of my goals for 2021 is to blog more, so we're getting a head start this week :)
I received a new Danielle Steel book for Christmas (thanks Megan!) and although I haven't started it, I'll be reading it next weekend when we go camping!
I've been counting calories for a few months now, so my typical morning breakfast consists of egg whites, turkey, ezekial toast, and strawberry jelly. Lunches and dinners vary, but my breakfast is basically the same every day. Although admittedly, I've had my fair share of sweets over Christmas too.
Nothing! After Christmas, I'm on a spending hiatus, and not buying a thing. (Other than groceries sometime this weekend.)
That I'm going to enjoy the next few days home. Today, we come home from San Antonio, and DJ has off until the 11th. We're going to enjoy some family time this weekend, I'll work a few days next week, and then we're heading off on a camping trip. Right now, I'm just glad that football season is finally over!
All the leggings and sweatshirts.
I'm currently listening to a movie on YouTube about Anne Frank. I asked the girls what they wanted to learn about in January, and Megan mentioned Anne Frank so we'll be watching some documentaries about her.

In the car, we have the Hamilton soundtrack on repeat.
All the water. I feel like since Christmas, I haven't been able to flush the salt out of my system, so I'm drinking all the water.
Part of me is wanting to get back in to a routine. In December, our homeschool routine was out of the ordinary, so I'm really hoping we can get back in to a good routine without having to stop and start. Because I do teletherapy from home a few days a week, I feel like we are just getting started before we get interrupted.
Getting back into a good blogging routine. I'm working on brainstorming some post ideas, and re-focusing on the blog. I'm also working on some oily classes for my team.

If you have blog posts topics you want to see, please leave a comment and share!

Happy Wednesday!

Wednesday What

Hey friends! Happy Wednesday!!! We have a long weekend ahead of us, and I am here for it! Today, I'm sharing a little Wednesday What.... it's a new series that will fill you in on what's happening :)
DJ and I have binge watching episodes of Keep Your Daydream. They're YouTubers that RV and document all of their trips along the way. DJ had watched some of their episodes to learn how to do certain things with the RV, but then my parents got me in to watching the actual vacations.... I had to show DJ one of their vacations down the Colorado River in Utah, and we've basically watched all of their Alaska travels, and Alaska is now on our bucket list.
Right now, I'm not reading anything for myself. I'm reading The Magic Treehouse books to Adalyn and Little House on the Prairie series to Megan.
I'm obsessed with Taylor Swift's album and the Hamilton soundtrack. When we road tripped to Arkansas earlier in August, those two soundtracks helped us make it through! We had so much fun having a big Hamilton sing-a-long.

Now, if Adalyn gets to choose what we are listening to..... her current favorite song is Wine, Beer, Whiskey from Little Big Town.
All of the Thieves, and Geneyus during the day time.

Thieves is wonderful for providing immune system support, so I typically diffuse it in the living room. Then, I put Geneyus in our aria diffuser while we do our homeschooling.

At night, I'm diffusing Frankincense and Egyptian Gold. I used my Itovi scanner and scanned for a ton of immune support earlier last week. I diffused it at night, and now I'm hooked, and I love that our Dessert Mist diffuser will run intermittently all night.
Give me all the yoga pants. These are my favorite pair.

Getting the girls closet's cleaned out, eventually going to goodwill, shipping clothes I've sold, and working on shipping some giveaways from our oily group. Basically, I'll be going to the post office a bunch!
I just changed my mind about Megan's homeschool curriculum, so I had to buy the workbooks. We were going to use The Good and Beautiful with her, but her level is out of stock and her math level won't be in until close to Christmas, and while I was happily going to wait, Gretchen's curriculum is going so well with her, that I thought I may as well put Megan on it for her reading, language arts, and math. She also wanted to take science, so she's all set and ready!
I shared our recent Costco haul here, and we're eating anything that's easy that I don't really have to cook. It's Fall(ish) and Football, so DJ isn't home often for dinner. Since we're busy most nights with activities, dinners are just super quick and easy. We had Orange Chicken Sunday night.... I made spaghetti one night last week, we had tillapia and veggies one night.... anything easy and quick.
