Friday Favorties

Happy Friday!!!! Today's going to be a fabulous day!

The girls and I are heading to Dallas with my mom, sister in law, and niece to celebrate Megan and Amelia's birthdays!!! We have tons of fun planned!
Today, I'm linking up with Andrea, Erika, and Narci and sharing my Friday Favorites.

Our surprise weekend pit stop to Silver Dollar City was probably my favorite. We had the best weekend playing in the sun in Arkansas, and then we were able to stop over at SDC since my brother and his family was there. The girls were SO excited to see each other and had a blast.

Road trips aren't always my favorite, but this field of yellow was gorgeous!

The girls had gymnastics this week, and we were there early, so I let the girls run and play in this field next to their gym. They had so much fun cartwheeling and playing!

I'm currently reading, "Girl Wash Your Face" and I'm loving it!! It's seriously so good! This paragraph really spoke to me and my entrepreneurial side, but really as a wife, mom, and woman we really have to stop telling ourselves lies and know that God made us for a BIG purpose! It may be wiping noses, sleepless nights, and cooking dinner, or it may be running a multi million dollar business, fostering babies, or going on mission trips, but my friends, it was NO mistake that you're here and you're worthy!
When we travel, which we've been doing a lot of lately, I make sure to diffuse Thieves so we can keep our immune systems in check. We only have a few more days of the school year, and I don't need anyone getting sick.
This girl loved helping out in the kitchen and eating raspberries off her fingers.

And y'all, Young Living's customer services is my favorite! I received my order last month, and was missing Allerzyme, which was a free product they were giving. Instead, I had a lip gloss. When I contacted customer service, they told me to keep the lip gloss and mailed my Allerzyme right out! This supplement supports the digestive system, which is SO needed in today's modern diet.
I ran to Marshalls earlier this week, and ended up grabbing some new work out gear. I can tell that i'm going to be living in these Under Armor joggers (similar here), and workout tanks this summer. Marshall's is probably one of my favorite place to grab workout gear, because it's name brands, but so freaking cheap!
In the mornings when I don't have time to eat a grown up breakfast, I fix a smoothie. I use Vega Chocolate protein powder, and then add in a ton of supplements. Young Living's Sulferzume, Mega Cal, Collagen Peptides, beet powder, powder peanut butter, chia seeds, and then I toss in a handful of spinach. Seriously, it's so good and a great way to get in lots of health benefits in the morning.

I think I've mentioned before, but anytime I'm on the computer (especially at work) I wear these computer glasses. These help to protect your vision and block out the harmful blue light that our technology screens emit.
Young Living put a few of my favorite oils on sale, just in time for Mother's Day!!!

Why are these “MUST-HAVES” for mama's? ðŸŒ¸ðŸŒºðŸŒ¸ðŸŒº

*5-ml Frankincense - mamas aren’t getting any younger or are they?! Maybe she’s born with it...maybe it’s Frankincense! Put a drop ðŸ¦„ of Frank on every night with your ART Intensive Moisturizer and voila: baby’s bottom status!!! Frankincense is also highly known for keeping a calm center during meditation & yoga. Talk about a win-win!
*5-ml Sacred Sandalwood - this is a true gem and one that is high on my must have list because applied to the base of my skull (brain stem) and my forehead before bed is seriously magical for promoting sleep ðŸ˜´ High in sesqueterpines means it works on my Mama brain all night long...hmm maybe tomorrow I’ll remember I'll remember where I placed my keys... Sacred Sandalwood is also another powerhouse used in yoga, meditation & prayer, and one that has incredible skin-supporting properties. AND ALL THE MAMA'S ARE REJOICING!
*15-ml Cedarwood - where do I even begin?! Cedarwood is one heck of a unicorn oil! I'm always baffled at how something that can do so much costs so little? Focus, sleep, breathing, hair to name a few.....We're talking an abundance of goodness all wrapped up into one little bottle. And it’s normally 11pv so with 10% off it’s a bargain oil. I’d stock up on this beauty to spread around like confetti during Father’s Day. All the men in our life will love this!
*15-ml Lavender ðŸŒ¿- Swiss Army knife of oils. We go through 2-3 bottles a month easy. In my diffuser. On my pillow. On my skin like crazy. On the kid’s feet. In the kitchen for any mishaps. In my purse for any kid mishaps. Every. Mama. ðŸ™ŽMust. Have. PERIOD!
*15-ml Melrose - you think you love Tea Tree? Melrose is a blend that will knock your socks off (and make the feet ðŸ‘Ÿwithin those socks less itchy ðŸ¤£). This is my daughter’s go to owie oil. Apply to nails and toenails for awesomely strong and clear nails and healthy cuticles. Apply around the ears after swimming or while teething. Apply with Lavender to skin. Talk about soothing. Melrose is an incredible blend of Melaleuca, Naouli, Rosemary, and Clove essential oils with powerful cleansing properties. Pure goodness!

If you're a current Young Living member, you can log in to your account and grab these oils on sale, and if you're wanting to grab a Premium Starter Kit and become a member, you can do that here. Then, go ahead and add on any of the oils that are on sale!
Anyone that becomes a member through Sunday, will receive a set of Wool Dryer Balls!

Dryer sheets were the first toxins we replaced when we first started ridding our home, and moving to a more natural, plant based lifestyle.
And finally, I wanted to share my word for the month. I've been reading a ton of books, and I kept coming back to this word, when I was planning out May.

Intentional.

This month, I want to be intentional in what I say, do, who I interact with, when I'm spending time with my girls or my husband, working my business. I just want to be very intentional this month.

What are you needing to be more intentional with?

Alright, we're off to Dallas!

Weekend Wrap Up: A Get Away Weekend

We had a busy weekend, as we were off on a few adventures! Today, I'm sharing a little weekend wrap up of all of our fun.
First up, Addy Pearl had career day at school last week. She decided she wanted to be a cheerleader when she grows up.
Thursday night, Megan had gymnastics, so I hung out with these two. They watched a movie, ate popcorn, and had a smoothie for dinner.
When we got home from school Friday, we loaded up the car, and headed to DJ's parents house in Arkansas. We got there super late, and Addy didn't want to change out of her pj's. She was sound asleep when she arrived. So, on Saturday morning, she was still wearing her doughnut dress, because Friday was Dancing & Doughnut day at preschool.
After breakfast, DJ and his dad did some work around the house, Grandma Dee watched the girls, and I headed down to the park, beside the river, and ran.

DJ's parents live in a quaint retirement town with the Spring River running right through it. Lots of people float the river in the spring and summer, but, the river was quiet, and I've sworn off floating the river, because last time there was a huge snake swimming right beside our canoe. (I almost tipped it)
After my run, I decided to sit down near a little stream to read my devotional.
I came back to all the girls outside helping Grandma Dee plant flowers. Gretchen took a break to sit and enjoy the view.
And Megan was content to dig in the dirt.
The guys smoked a ham outside and roasted potatoes on the open fire.
Once all of the flowers were planted, the girls found the perfect spot for them.
I spent most of the afternoon reading, and eventually took a nap :)

When I woke up, the girls were playing in the lake.
It started as a "rinse your hands off in the lake" and eventually, they were wading in it.
Grandma Dee got out the nets, and the girls tried to catch little fish.

We finally went inside to eat dinner, get baths, and settled in to watch The Greatest Showman.

We left after breakfast on Sunday morning, and had a surprise in store for the girls!

My brother and sister in law, had headed to Branson on Saturday, and Branson is sort of on our way home, so we stopped too.
We met them at Grandfather's Mansion and explored the wacky mirrors and tested our balance.

After Grandfather's Mansion, we hit up the flooded mine.
And then we let the girls pick out a few rides to enjoy.

The hot air balloons are always on their list!

We only spent a few hours there, so after riding the hot air balloons, we let each of the girls pick out two more quick rides. Megan chose the fireman's ladder, that drops takes you up and down.
Around 4, we treated ourselves to ice cream.

And, then called it a day before heading home.

We bought season passes for the year, so we didn't feel bad just stopping for a few hours. The girls had tons of fun, and other than the ice cream, we didn't have to spend any money! It was the perfect amount of time to have some fun, and the girls were pumped to see their Yaya!
