Cheer Camp & Beach Camping

We got back from our Colorado camping trip and immediately turned around and dropped Megan off at cheer camp!

Once she was dropped off, we celebrated DJ's birthday!

And then we were able to pick her up and see all that she learned! Look at her in the middle of her pyramid!

We were so proud of our cheerleader!

She was exhausted for the week! We picked her up and headed straight to the beach!

We arrived, got settled in, had dinner, and enjoyed some gorgeous sunset views.

Grand Lake Day

I fell in love with Grand Lake while we were there. We've traveled through Colorado a lot over the last few summers, and this town may be my nuber 1 spot, if not the top 3 for sure. If it weren't so cold and snowy- this would probably be my dream town (and if there was a Target within 30 minutes)

We walked the main street and did some shoping. There were so many cute goodies!

Megan fell in love with moose on this trip and decided her future child's entire nursery should be all moose themed.

The flowers and wooden sidewalks were dreamy.

The girls played at the park in the middle of town.

And then we spent the afternoon at the lake.

It was COLD! But thankfully we "warmed" up to the water pretty quickly.

The girls were brave enough to jump in but they immediately regretted it.

We spent the whole afternoon paddle boarding and kayaking.

I could literally spend my entire days doing what we did on this day. Walking, shopping, being together, enjoying breathtaking scenery, and being on the water.

Eventually we got ice cream.

We ended the night with dinner and a view of the lake.

It was absolutely perfection.

RMNP Day 2

On day 2 of our Rocky Mountain National Park trip, we had reservations to be on the other side of the park for some hiking! It was about an hour drive over. We packed some snacks, our hiking gear, and we were off!

Honestly, I can't remember which lakes we hiked and which trail this was. It's a pretty popular one in the area, and I'm way too lazy to go look it up right now.

The lakes were breathtaking. The weather was beautiful. The hiking wasn't too strenuous, and we all had fun.

Afterwards, we drove over to Park City, since we were close. We walked in and out of shops. Gretchen especially loved seeing this pic of Travis.

And Megan thought this shirt was hilarious.

Of course, we stopped for ice cream.

After doing some shopping, picking out souveniers- it started to rain, and we had to get back to pick up Gabby!

On our drive back we even saw some elk!
