In September, Texas played at Michigan and after a lot of convincing and finding an airline ticket that we could use our points on; I convinced DJ to let me go! I flew in Thursday night and he picked me up at the airport with pizza in tow! We got to the hotel, ate the pizza and called it a night!
The next morning he had meetings, so I went on a walk around Ford Lake.
It was gorgeous out, and I managed to get in a great workout!
Then we headed to the stadium; this was the first away game where he had to deal with replay access for the coach's, and it was kind of a mess setting it all up.
He finally had to just leave it up to the other guys working because he had to go set up the team hotel.
We ubered back, grabbed a super late lunch that was basically dinner, and then I helped him do what I could to set up the hotel.
He had team meetings, and I met his aunt and cousin for a super late dinner!
Saturday morning the high was in the 60s but I was determined to embrace it.
This may be one of my most favorite game day outfits of the season, and honestly, it wasn't super cold.
Texas pulled out the win on this one, which was a great start to our season!!
And it was better with family there too!
