Can you believe it's Friday already?! Okay, well, I'm posting this on Thursday evening, but I'm so looking forward to tomorrow!

I've had a very busy week at work, not only was it my first full week back with students, but it was also spent traveling to community schools to complete hearing screens. You remember the drill from school- "raise your hand when you hear the beep." As a speech therapist, I should be attesting to how important it is, as more and more children are being identified with a hearing loss or impairment of some sorts. But, screenings also make for very long days!

To top it off, I was only able to spend a few afternoons in my building, so I feel like I haven't achieved anything! I had hoped to start seeing kids for therapy next week, but that looks very unlikely! My new goal is by next Wednesday, so we'll see if that happens!
