Valentine's Wreath Project

Gretchen and I have been stuck inside for the last THREE days thanks to the ice storm and snow that have passed over our way. After one day of relaxing, the second day became a bit boring, so you can imagine how this third day is going!

I decided that in order to give Gretchen a break from watching t.v. and being lazy, that she would enjoy some arts & crafts time. So, I pulled out a paper plate left over from her birthday party, along with some pink and red construction paper.

First, I cut a hole in the middle of the paper plate, and then I cut out hearts from the red and pink paper. I gave everything to her, along with a glue stick, and let her glue the hearts to the paper plate.

For some reason, she seperated the pink and red hearts, so we have pink on one side and red on the other!

Ta-da! A very simple project, that took at least 10 minutes out of our boring day to complete!
