Friday Favorites: Flying Tee Edition

Yay for Friday!!!! We finally made it through our last week of state testing, and we're looking forward to another trip this weekend and having some fun. I'll be honest, I hope this weekend involves sleeping in, reading, and taking a nap in the car on our drives.
I'm linking up with Andrea, Erika, and Narcy to share some favorites today.

First up, this little quote. Can, I get an Amen.

My floors haven't been mopped in weeks, our kitchen skin is full of dishes, we have loads of laundry we're catching up on, but the kids are happy, and I'm just trying to look the other way.
And, I shared this with a co-worker after one of DJ's co-workers sent it to him.

There are just some days where this is SO true!
And then I found this on Facebook, and texted it to DJ, because he is always shocked when I tell him how much I just spent at the grocery store. Every single time.
Tuesday night, we took DJ's video students from football out to Flying Tee, and we decided to rent two bays instead of one so the girls could tag along and play too.
And, they had a blast!
We basically should've just rented four bays- one for each girl, and then one for his students.

The weather was gorgeous, we ordered appetizers, and had a fun night out.

This girl also decided she could practice her beam routine on the red line.
I sure do love doing life with this guy.
After two hours of golf, we were ready to get home and in the bed.
I recently ordered this book from Amazon and started it on Sunday. I can already tell it's going to be good, and it's a part of my 35 in 35 challenge, where I accomplish a list of 35 things before I turn 36.
And, a few oily favorites before we go :)

Peace & Calming came in handy on Sunday when we were traveling with the girls. One started to throw a fit because "there was nothing to do," so I swiped this on toes, and she finally calmed down. As a bonus, sister fell asleep too!
This month, Young Living sent wool dryer balls with orders, and I was pumped to receive mine in the mail. We switched dryer sheets as soon as I found out how carcinogenic they are, and to help us save money, and we're obsessed. We have at least 8, but now we're up to 12 with the set that Young Living sent us, and of course, we use our favorite oil- purification- on our wool dryer balls.
And check out this fun haul I ordered! The bundle in the basket, is full of Young Living's baby line! Since we don't have any more babies (insert me crying here) I ordered it for some of the coaches wives that are expecting between now and August. I also ordered Shutran shave cream for DJ, their mineral sunscreen, lipstick, lipgloss, and eye shadow, a cel-lite massage oil, and got some freebies from them too! I love that I get to choose my favorite products to order each month!

Alright, we're out for the weekend, and I'll probably blog again on Tuesday. Keep up with us on Instagram, or search #weltetravels for all of the fun!

What's Up Wednesday.... on a Thursday

Whoops. I totally forgot to blog yesterday, so I thought I'd share What's Up Wednesday..... today. Thursday. Because that's kind of how my week is going :)

I mean, we are STILL trying to recover from our weekend away last week.

1. What We're Eating This Week......
Monday- We grabbed Chick Fil A because we had after school activities.
Tuesday- We ate at Flying Tee because we took DJ's students out for a night of golfing.
Wednesday- Grilled Chicken, Oven Roasted Potatoes & Sweet Potatoes, Mac & Cheese, Green Beans
Thursday- Probably tacos.
Friday- We'll be eating on the go again, because we're heading back to Arkansas

2. What I'm Reminiscing About......
This came up in my timehop, and these precious babies made me all mushy inside. The girls are growing up entirely too fast.

3. What I'm Loving...
I have never been a healthy eater at breakfast time. I'm happy with a bowl of cereal, protein shake, oatmeal..... sometimes I eat breakfast like a child. I love cocoa pebbles and kids cereal. Anyway, I started eating real, grown up breakfast, and I'm loving it. I feel like I've entered a whole new world of food, and wondering why I haven't been eating like a grown up all along.

4. What We've Been Up To...
We've been busy!!! Adalyn had a gardening day at her preschool....
We went out of town and climbed a mountain....
We visited Gee and Papaw twice this month....
And, lots of gymnastics. Megan is now taking twice a week, and is there for a total of 4 hours, so we're spending lots of time at her gym.

5. What I'm Dreading....
We have lots of little trips planned in the next few weeks, and while I'm not dreading go on our trips, I'm dreading all the time we'll be spending in the car!

6. What I'm Working On.....
I'm currently working on eating healthier :), working out, balancing a full time job and house work.
I'm also working on some fun things for my oil business.

7. What I'm Excited About....
This weekend, we're heading to the lake, and in a few weeks we have Megan's birthday celebrations coming up, and then we're heading to Indiana to visit family.

We'll also be celebrating the end of another school year next month, and we are so looking forward to summer!

8. What I'm Watching/Reading....
I just started this book yesterday.
And this book came in, and I started it on Sunday.

And, I finally finished the 5 Second Rule.

I've been doing lots of reading, which is a total change, and I'm loving it!

9. What I'm Listening To....
This soundtrack has been on repeat while we're in the car, and I downloaded the Pandora station. We're obsessed.

10. What I'm Wearing...
Anything that is comfortable :)

11. What I'm Doing This Weekend....
We're heading to Arkansas to spend the weekend with DJ's parents at their lake. But, we probably won't be going on any boat rides or getting wet this time around.

12. What I'm Looking Forward to Next Month...
This sweet girl turns 7 and we have some fun birthday celebrations planned!!

13. What Else Is New....
If you're an oiler, then you'll be pumped to know that Valor was just released in a roll on!!! This oil is fabulous for confidence, snoring, and aligning the back!
My April, Young Living order arrived, and it came packed with baby shower presents, sunscreen, oils, makeup, and freebies!
And, the girls were asked to be Flower Girls in my niece's wedding next Spring! They're so excited!

Bonus question this month:  WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE MOTHER’S DAY GIFT TO GIVE?
I love grabbing some fun things from Young Living for our moms to try, and then I usually grab them something else that I know they want. It might be a book or jewelry, flowers or a gift card.

These stress away bath bombs and lotion are to die for, and are perfect for that mom that needs some relaxation!
Make up is always fun to give!
And hello, every mama needs some Stress Away in her life!

What are you wanting to receive for Mother's Day this year???

So, that's a little bit of What's Up with us :) You can keep with us every day over on Instagram!

Weekend Wrap Up: Mountain Climbing in Arkansas

Happy Tuesday friends :) This past weekend was busy, and we're still trying to recover. I love being able to travel, but it makes for a hectic time trying to get back in to the swing of the week and back in to our routine.

Today, I'm sharing a little weekend wrap up and including all the fun we had from our traveling!
Thursday night, I dropped off Megan at gymnastics, went to the gym, and then Addy and I stopped by Lowes to buy a few flowers for her class garden day. She picked out little flowers and a bell pepper plant.
Friday, I was able to join her during my lunch break while her class planted flowers.

She had SO much fun!
After school, Megan made her way down to my room and practiced her headstands while we waited on her big sister.
We had DJ's car, since he was home packing mine for our weekend trip, and I let this girl sit in the front seat! It won't be long before the girls are arguing over the front, and we have a pretty strict rule that no one is in the front until age 12, but.... DJ's car is a hassle to buckle in Megan due to the tightness of booster seats and car seats, and we were heading straight home, so we made a one time exception.
We arrived at my parents late on Friday night, and then Saturday morning, we were up early to meet my sister, nephew, and niece to climb Pinnacle Mountain.

I grew up climbing this mountain and when I turned 35 last summer, I wrote a bucket list of sorts of 35 things I wanted to do when I was 35, and climbing Pinnacle with Gretchen was on that list.
Here we are at the top.
Gretchen and I were going to climb alone a few weekends ago, but the weather was cold and rainy. We were happy that this guy could tag along too.
DJ an I at the top.
Gretchen had fun pretending she was an only child!

My niece is in the Navy and stationed in Hawaii (lucky girl!), and was home, so we were SO excited to get to see her!
When we reached the bottom, Gretchen played on the playground, and there was an Earth Day event, so we took home a few free plants, and Gretchen did some leaf art.

We spent the afternoon wedding dress shopping with my niece, and then we came home to play and cook.
I love that the girls get to experience the taste of the country. They had a blast jumping on hay bales, picking wild flowers, and jumping on the trampoline.

Saturday night, we had a good ole cajun crawfish boil.

Yup. that's our crazy crew.
It was so, so good to see this girl! I'm so proud of the choice she made to enlist in the Navy!

My parents have a dog, Ralph, and Adalyn has been deathly afraid of Ralph for the longest time. He's kind of an ugly dog, and I mean that in the nicest way possible :) She's finally warmed up to him and we found her kissing and talking to him. She's my little dog lover.
And hey, check out this cake my mom made for Shelby's welcome home party :)
After dinner, Shelby asked all of the girls to be the flower girls in her wedding! They are SO excited! Especially because they get to wear a pretty dress too!
Sunday morning, I walked in to my mom's kitchen to find the girls watching The Greatest Showman on the iPad.
And we loaded up and headed home mid morning on Sunday. And y'all, if you travel or road trip, then you basically need this oil. One child was throwing a fit because there was "nothing to do" and telling us we are the "worst parents ever".... so, I grabbed this bottle of oil, and swiped a bit on Megan and Adalyn's wrists. It wasn't too long before Adalyn was asleep and Megan had calmed down.
I spent the rest of Sunday at the grocery store, and lunch prepping, while these girls practiced gymnastics.
DJ went to the gym to run, and I made smoothies for the girls for dinner.

It was a busy weekend, and we're looking forward to another get away this weekend!
