Summer Lately

Summer time has been busy and so fun. I've really enjoyed the slower evenings and more time home with DJ and the girls. 

Here's a look at summer lately. 

Adalyn loves a good pj day in the summer. She stayed in her pjs all day and then we baked chocolate chip cookies together. 

One Friday, the girls and I had some shopping errands to run. We went to Target, Marshall's, Michaels, Party City, the Dollar Tree, and a consignment store! It was a busy day! We stopped in at Jason's Deli for lunch and that's when Megan realized she loves club crackers dipped in ice cream. A strange treat for sure! 

It's not often that we all go out together and run errands. I use to dream of shopping days with the girls when they were little. Then, life gets busy, ordering online is easy, and we lived through a pandemic where we didn't all go shopping, so this was a fun day for us! 

It's been hot here, so Megan and Adalyn broke out the air track for some slip n slide fun one afternoon.... after we had spent the entire morning at the water park. 

We celebrated Father's day with DJ. 

He got a jumbo container of Red Vines; new sandals, and a bug trapper for camping. 

Then we all hit up the pool for a few hours. 

This girl is silly and adorable. She is always making us laugh and smile. 

Father's day evening, we dropped Gretchen off at church so she could hop on a bus to Colorado for church camp! She was so excited to go and had spent the entire week before packing with her color coded lists.

Adalyn went to UT football camp on Monday and had the best time! She was 1 of 5 girls and came home exhausted but had told us how much fun she had had!

She even scored a touchdown! 

Megan came home with her new team leo and is obsessed with the back of it! Seriously, so cute! 

Summer has been good to us so far! I just wish it wasn't going by so fast.
