Tonight is the 3rd, yes, count 'em, third night in a row that Gretchen has slept on the floor! She gets to sleep in a sleeping bag at her sitter's house for naps, and apparently that's a cool, big kid thing to do because she is wanting to do it at home.It would figure that we just purchased her new furniture last weekend, which should be here within the next week, that she'd prefer to sleep elsewhere. Had, I known this a week ago, we might would have waited until this phase ended!
But, this girl never ceases to amaze me with what she comes up with. From dressing like a princess, to even wearing her crown to daycare, from the songs, and all of the funny sayings, to her very stubborn ways (I wonder where she got those from?) So, if she wants to sleep on the floor and actually sleeps, then we let her! At least until her furniture arrives!
Sweet girl. She has her stuffed toys to protect her scattered all around. Funny.

ReplyDeleteMy daughter, Rosie, is four years old. It IS amazing what they come up with, isn't it? I am amazed every day by something she says or does. And I'm usually laughing!
My grandkids sleep on the floor all the time....love it....and they have wonderful beds...can't figure it out
