On Monday I let G get out her "How To Be A Princess" book, which has a crown that she can decorate with gems (as she calls them). Her grandma Dee and Pops gave her this book forever ago, and while we read it, I had not allowed her to actually get the activities out of it. Mostly, because I didn't think she'd value the aspect of having them, and that the pieces would end up torn and in the trash. But, she's had a blast all week playing with the gems, wearing the crowns, and taking off and re-placing the gems.
I tried to get a picture of her and she quickly hid her face behind the page of stickers. Do you see that placemat in the picture? My cousin purchased it for G and we love it! It came with dry-erase type markers, so G can sit and color her placemat while i'm cooking dinner or cleaning up the kitchen, and I can later wipe it off so she can color all over again!
MC and G took a bath together for the very first time. I cleaned out the garage on Sunday and drug out the Bumbo chair. So, we threw it in the tub for MC to sit in. I've seen other people use the Bumbo in the tub, but to be honest. We won't be doing it that often. It floats just a little bit, plus, I have to get her chunky thighs out of it to bathe her. But, I was in a hurry to get them both bathed so this is what worked.

Thank goodness, I can say that she's in larger clothes because of the cloth diapers, rather than facing the fact that she is just a chunk!I hope y'all have a fabulous Friday. Lawd knows I just want to have a lazy weekend with the girls while DJ's away playing at Tulane, and hopefully kicking some booty! How do y'all plan on spending the weekend?
