Friday Favorites: Weekly Wrap Up Edition

Friday is here!!! The day we've waited for since Monday! I for one am relieved as this week has been crazy with testing and screening speech students and DJ has been stuck at the office for 3 nights this week!

Let's get on with some of my favorite moments from the week!
I'm linking up today with Erika, Narci, and Andrea for Friday Favorites!
One of Addy Pearls favorite things to do is cry and be held! I took selfies with her to make her stop crying, and it totally worked! What a diva she is, all stylin in her pj's! I decided to give Addy some proper blog attention this week in my Girl Mom series. You can check it out here.
Sunday, Gretchen and I had tons of fun at the premiere of Hello Lovely, Matilda Jane's newest collection! You can still order from our trunk keeper, Traci, by completing your wishlist and sending it to her via email (tclaybrook@matildajaneclothing.com). The Hello Lovely line, may be my favorite collection yet!
Monday night, I took all of the girls to McDonald's after Gretchen's dance class. McDonald's is not my favorite, but DJ was working late, and I didn't have to come home, cook dinner, or clean up! So, that is definitely a favorite!
I also finished an apron that I'm sending to one of my favorite bloggers!

Last year, Erika ordered aprons for Ebby Lee's 5th birthday party. Shay's children attended and both went home with a personalized apron as a party favor. Shay posted a photo of Ashby, her newly adopted daughter, on Instagram, cooking in the kitchen wearing Kensington's apron. I messaged Shay and asked if I could send Ashby her very own apron, and she excitingly agreed!

I'm sure Shay will make great memories in the kitchen with Kensington, Smith, and now Ashby in their kitchen!

Check out Shay's foody blog here. There are some great recipes for us busy mom's!

Check out more aprons here.
Tuesday afternoon, Gretchen and I left early for a doctor's appointment.

Gretchen has had a fatty cyst on her back for several years and we are getting the cyst removed next week. She'll have surgery on Wednesday, and should recover quickly!
After her doctor's appointment, we stopped at Sonic for a favorite treat!
Tuesday night, I came home and made Tomato Basil Chicken. It was a super quick (and easy) meal to cook when we got home and there were plenty of left overs, and it was so yummy!

Wednesday was National Signing Day:
This sort of marks the end to college football for our family. It's definitely one of my favorite parts of the season since DJ typically gets a few days at home after signing day. He was stuck at the office Monday and Tuesday night, crazy late, working on the signing day video shared at TU's annual signing day alumni event.

As, I shared before, football season is NEVER over! It honestly never ends for a football family! I'll be sharing next week the inside scoop on Tulsa's signing day, so be sure to check back then!

Thanks so much for stopping by for Friday Favorites! I hope this weekend will be your favorite yet!

    1. Kelly, yes! We get about 4 days and then he has a quick convention before getting right back in the grind! My husband is a collegiate video coordinator, so a bit different from coaching, but man, the hours are crazy! Thanks so much for stopping by! Enjoy your weekend (and your hubby!)
