I'm not sure about you all, but I am not use to being home with my kids 7 days a week! Now that summer is in full swing and we're home every day, I have to feed my kids! I know, shocking! But, feeding kids is hard work! These little humans, are not happy to eat the same thing every day, and they definitely all don't want to eat the same thing their sister is eating! Heaven forbid.

So, lunch time is challenging. During the school year, I only have to come up with lunch for one kid since the other two eat at daycare. She's happy to eat peanut butter and jelly every day, but that doesn't fly in the summer time.
Today, I thought i'd share a few lunches that I've been feeding the girls this summer, in hopes to give you some ideas, and I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE if you would comment below with a few of your kids favorites!
My girls are always up for pepperoni's! They also love mac & cheese. I try to make homemade mac & cheese, but sometimes I don't always get a chance to. If I can't make it from scratch, then we use Annie's. The girls don't mind when I throw in a few peas (I like to because it uses up any leftovers!), and thankfully, the girls love raw veggies and any fruit!

But sometimes, we have to have a quick pb&j, cheetoh's, and fresh strawberries.
We usually have a quick lunch like this when we've spent our mornings at the pool or running errands.

My girls also love corn dogs, veggie chips, and carrot sticks with ranch for dipping.
Dino chicken nuggets are also fun, as are pretzel sticks, string cheese, and apple slices.

I don't love cleaning up my kitchen three times a day, so sometimes I'll let the girls take a break from using our dining table, and I let them use their kid table and eat in the living room! This picture was taken at our old house and we recently got rid of this table, but purchased this one from Ikea instead!
The girls love to have picnics in the living room too, so sometimes we break out the picnic blanket, turn on a t.v. show and they enjoy their lunch from there.
Now, I know I don't have the best lunch ideas. We rotate the above with hot dogs (you know, the healthy kind), lunch meat w/ cheese, turkey and cheese sandwiches or wraps, and probably once a week we do eat out while running errands. And since, I don't always have the best ideas, I browsed pinterest to inspire us all with a few more!
~Cucumbers (I always forget about cucumbers, and my girls love them!)
~ Mini Pizza's made from homemade tortillas
~ Omelet's
~ Meat Kabob's
~ Bell Pepper Slices (my girls love these too!)
~ Pigs in a Blanket
~ Celery sticks w/ peanut butter and raisins (Now, I know this is considered a snack idea, but sometimes we do meatless meals, and this would be a great one when paired with yogurt!)
~ Cheese Quessadillas
So, what else?! What can you think of? What are your kids favorite summer lunches?

Lunches at our house aren't all that exiting either & with #2 set to make her debut anytime now, I've been stockpiling Ella's mainstays. One thing she loves that your girls might like is individual pizzas from Trader Joes! They aren't expensive & are the perfect size for lunch!
