Friday Favorites:

Oh, Friday!!! I'm rejoicing that you have arrived! This was my very first full week of actually working, and I'm exhausted!! And the girls and I have some fun plans for the weekend!

Addy Pearl has been joining us around 6 am. She is waking up way early! Usually she crawls in bed and cuddles until DJ wakes up. Monday morning she asked to watch a Disney show on DJ's phone. How cute is she with ballet baby in her lap?!

I'm still loving getting pictures from her preschool teacher. Her teacher makes an alphabet book, so each week, they do an art with their letter of the week. Of course, this week, they worked on "A" for Adalyn.

Addy knows two things in this world. How to spell her name "Addy" and how to spell Tulsa. 

I always have a dinner helper each night. She insists on watching any time I'm in the kitchen. She pulls over a pink chair from the kids table, and just watches. 

Hey look, more art work with the letter A! 

She has finally learned how to pedal her tricycle! Last week, DJ took the girls on a walk, and she was peddling all by herself! And she gets lots of practice peddling at school too!

Tuesday afternoon, Gretchen came to my office with the best news ever! She made an A on her spelling test!!! Spelling has been a struggle since first grade. Our school uses Bear Spelling and I hate it. For students with articulation difficulties, I truly think that Bear spelling is the most difficult way to learn. Alas, there's not much I can do about it, so we just push our way through, and try our best. 

One of my favorite oils is Ylang Ylang. My hair has gotten so long, and I'm due for a hair cut, but this oil helps your hair grow, plus it has a floral scent, so I smell good all day long! 

On Wednesday, Addy made a rooster! 

And Thursday morning, Meggie asked for her hair to look like a bow, so that's what we did! It did not look this good by the end of the day though!

There are better options available and I'd love to share more with you!!!
