We read through lots of Christmas books during the holiday season, and I wanted to share a few of our favorites with y'all.
Of course we love this classic Christmas book. If you're needing a way to exchange gifts in a small group, read through the book and every time you read the word "The" pass the present to the person next to you.
We actually have this copy from DJ's childhood, and it's so special to read to the girls each year.
Since we have two elves at our house, we always read their book when the elves come back for the season.
This is a sweet little book about Olive, a puppy dog who thinks he's a reindeer after hearing the song Rudolph and the phrase "All of the Other Reindeer" and assumes he's a reindeer. He heads to the North Pole and helps Santa deliver presents on Christmas Eve.
This is a cute little rhyming book about catching an elf; it definitely gets lots of giggles. You can also read this book and ask your kids how they think they could catch an elf!
Of course, it's a twist on a classic favorite.
If you're looking for a way to explain the Christmas story to your kids, this is a wonderful book that simplifies the story and makes it easy for kids to understand.
