Happy Friday!!! My kiddos have a half day of school today and then we're out for Christmas break for two weeks and I could not be more ready. I ended up working a short week, but man, it's felt like one of the longest weeks ever. Gah, anyone else have a crazy week?
I'm linking up today and sharing my favorite moments from the week.
Last Friday, we kicked off the weekend with a Christmas party with friends. The kids exchanged presents......
but the adults had way more fun y'all! We ate and chatted and laughed and exchanged our favorite things.
I was glad this guy (and all the other hubby's) could tag along too.
This gal couldn't hang and eventually fell asleep on the couch.
Saturday morning, DJ had football practice and Gretchen had a school event, so the little girls and I went for doughnuts.
Her pink doughnut was a favorite.
Saturday night, DJ took these girls to see Frozen II and Gretchen slept over with friends. I opted to stay home for an evening of peace and quiet!
Sunday afternoon, Gretchen came home from her sleepover and was a bit upset that she missed out on Frozen II, so DJ took her and I stayed home with the little girls. We popped some popcorn and watched Noelle on Disney +.
After a busy week, we winded down with Christmas parties yesterday at the girls school. They both opted to wear their "ugly" sweaters to their parties.
Megan's party was first and her teacher had fun minute to win it games.
Megan dominated the cup stacking game.
We even went outside to see the Grinch.
I was so happy to join this cutie at her party.
Adalyn's party was in the afternoon, and again, I was so excited to be able to be there.
Her class had a book exchange and all of the girls exchanged a book, and all of the boys exchanged one.
Addy came home with this cute book, and we can't wait to read it!
Today is a short day, and honestly, I'm so looking forward to it. Of course we're excited about Christmas (my shopping is finally finished) but we're also looking forward to some downtime and relaxing and just taking a break from all the hustle and bustle.
Merry Christmas friends.
