Day 3 of our Florida vacation looked a lot like day 2.
We were up and ready for the beach!
Actually, we had a big family breakfast at the hotel restaurant and then headed for the beach.
Adalyn dug a super deep hole and stuck her feet inside.
I did lots of beach sitting and the girls did lots of playing.
We were both enjoying relaxing for a bit.
Beach time is the best time. Y'all we were either in the pool, the sand, or the ocean. It was fabulous.
This girl loved the waves. She was in the ocean the entire day.
I sure do love her.
I made sure we squeezed in a family picture too.
This cutie stole her daddy's hat.
We stayed in for dinner and at at the hotel restaurant and the kids finished off their meals with popsicles before swimming in the pool and heading out for a crab hunt.
Sunday morning we were awake and quickly packed so we could head to our condo in Orlando for the last half of our vacation.
I may have been the only one that thought this sign was funny. DeLand was one direction, but DeBeach was the other.
We checked in to our condo around 1, ate pizza and then hit up the pool. On the way the girls found this Star Wars guy. (Y'all, I don't even know his name, but they do!)
Our afternoon was filled with pool fun.
My four favorite people in the world.
Our condo had a little waterpark connected, so we went over there, and everyone (but me) tried surfing!
They all had so much fun! Here's Gretchen on one of her first tries.
And her first fall, which was epic that I caught it on camera!
Megan started on laying down then worked her way up to a standing position.
Then fell.
DJ didn't do too shabby. It helps that he use to slalom ski in high school.
But, yeah, he fell too!
Meanwhile, Adalyn tried it, fell once, and decided it wasn't her thing. I was right there with her so we cuddled and watched everyone fall.
They had a 30 minute session so there were lots of turns, and they all had fun.
We finished off the afternoon with more pool time.....
then we cleaned up for a family dinner at Bonefish Grill.
These girls are the best.
