This week has been crazy busy y'all! I am so thankful that it's Wednesday and we are now on the downhill slide. I have a dentist appointment this afternoon, and three IEP meetings this week, so I'm already counting down for the weekend. Anyone else?
I'm linking up today with a few of my favorite fashion bloggers for What I Wore Wednesday! You can check out their blogs: The Pleated Poppy, Get Your Pretty On, and Because Shanna Said So.
I'm feeling a bit in the winter slump, so I decided to get some Pinterest inspiration, and I may have purchased a few new pieces to help get me over the winter fashion blues.
Recently, I have sold monogrammed blanket scarves over in my shop, and I've heard from so many of you that you're loving yours as much as I love mine!
I got Pinspired by this look, and put my own little twist on it. My tunic is from Loft; this one is similar; my jeans are my FAVORITE and I bought them from Nordstrom. I couldn't find my shoes on Nordstrom, but these booties are similar, and are crazy cute!
Thanks to my full time speech path job, I have to dress up 3 days a week. I got Pinspired again by this look. At first, I loved it, and then throughout the day, I was itchy and uncomfortable! I couldn't wait to get home and change my clothes- ha! I think it was a great idea, it just looked way better on the model. My 5'2 frame is not model material!
And, then I pulled out this more casual look and loved it! I wore my Hue leggings with a shirt dress from Loft and paired it with my denim jacket.
Last Friday night, I hosted a Spring Premiere Party with a few other ladies who own small businesses. I was able to do a little shopping and I'm officially in love with this look. I wish I could get away with wearing it every single day!
My jeans are Gap, and I'm wearing my favorite booties. And, after 4 years of living in Oklahoma, I've officially given up the Arkansas hat that I wore for years, and traded it in for this Okie tee. This tee is the perfect length, and it's crazy soft. If you're an Okie, you need this shirt in your closet. I also bought this cardigan, and after wearing it for one evening, I messaged Johanna asking if she had anything else similar. It is lightweight, soft, and cozy. Again, it's the perfect length and just so much fun! You need to shop online at Sashy Pants; I think you'll fall in love just as I have!
And just for some fun, I thought I'd share an outfit that Gretchen wore last week!
She woke up Friday morning telling me that she had to dress like a "Rockstar." She and some friends have formed a rockstar club at school. She knew she had to have a denim jacket and her hair in a ponytail! I about died laughing, and I pulled together the best "rockstar" look from her closet that I could think of! Her shoes are pink glitter spree's, and her skirt and top are from Crazy 8. I think her jacket is Gap, but it may be Old Navy or Crazy 8 too.
After school, she told me that she had passed her first round of her rockstar training. I asked them what they did, and she said, "Just walked around in circles." She said she wasn't sure exactly how that helped her be a rockstar, but hoped that day 2 of her training would be "poses."
These 1st grade girls crack me up!
Hope you gals have a great Wednesday! Pray for me while I'm at the dentist this afternoon! The only good thing about the dentist is the massage chair that I get to lay in!
You can keep up with me everyday:
Hi Elaine! Love all of your outfits. That pink and grey cardi is awesome! Thanks for linking up! xoxo, Sheaffer :)
