SuperWomen of Today: Alissa~ Stella & Dot Stylist

So glad y'all are back for round 2 of SuperWomen of Today with HPA! Over the next few weeks, you're going to meet some pretty spectacular women! 

Women today are crazy busy! But, I love how we've been shaped and molded to handle anything that comes our way! We are a truly magnificent generation, and I want to use this series to introduce, inspire, and continue to motivate this generation of women!

You can read about my childhood friend, Carrie, and her adventure in last weeks post. She has had a pretty dramatic transformation over the last year!

Today, I want to introduce you to Alissa. Alissa and I met three years ago, when her husband took the strength and conditioning coach job at TU.  Alissa is originally from Minnesota, but has lived in Iowa, Texas, and now Oklahoma! She and I relate so well, since there are so few women in real life who know what we go through, with our husband's football jobs! She has two cutie pie little kiddos, and we love spending the season with them! 

Alissa is a stylist for Stella & Dot. If you've been living under a rock, you MAY not have heard of them, but if you're not, then I'm sure you've heard of how fabulous Stella & Dot jewelry is! 

I asked Alissa to share her story today. (It's in Italics below!) 

Stella & Dot is a boutique-style jewelry and accessories line that is exclusively available through trunk shows and Independent Stylists online.

 Becoming a Stylist was an opportunity I couldn't pass up. As a customer and hostess for a couple trunk shows, I fell in love with the pieces, hostess incentives, and business model.  I love how I can easily fit trunk shows into my busy life, earn extra money for our family, help hostesses earn free jewelry, and help customers find accessories they love!

Most days, I am quite casual being home with my two young kids, but like most moms, I love to be able to dress up on occasion! I love the versatility and broad range of pieces that Stella & Dot has available. 

 My favorite, everyday, go-to pieces are the Signature Engravable Disc Necklace that is engraved with our wedding date, and the Interlock Cross Necklace. They are delicate and have meaning to me.
