Christmas Break and Pajama Night & Lights!

I'm not sure about you all, but we have really enjoyed our first few days of Christmas break! It was much needed in our house to just have some time to relax and have no schedules.
Sunday evening Megan fell asleep while watching Christmas movies on the sofa.
We had a pajama day on Monday. I knew I wasn't going anywhere, and we just needed a day home. So, the girls watched Christmas movies, played and made messes, drug out all of their games, while I worked on laundry and picking up around the house. I did some sewing, and while Addy was down for a nap, I painted the big girls nails.
I make them lay super still on towels while they wait on their nails to dry!
Addy played Fireman.

And played with her babies. She is such a little mommy!

DJ spent the day at football and when he came home, we had dinner, and then the girls changed in to fresh pj's and we headed out for our annual night of looking at lights in our pj's! I've coined it our Pajama Night & Lights!
These girls were excited!

We drove through our neighborhood and then we drove to Barbee Cookies and eached pick out a cookie and drank hot chocolate.
Gretchen picked out a gingerbread snowflake.
Megan picked out a sugar Christmas tree.
Adalyn picked out a mitten.

I had a cinnamon roll cookie and DJ had a chocolate chip.
Too busy chewing to smile!
And yes, Gretchen kept her crown on all day long.
Addy leaned in for a picture too!
After we ate our cookies, we drove over to South Tulsa and watched this light display. We went last year and it was amazing! The actual display was the same, but the homeowner sets everything to music and you sit in your car with the radio tuned to the correct station and enjoy! This year his display danced to Whip & Nae Nae and Shutup & Dance.
The girls loved it!

And a few of our elf shenanigans:
Just lounging under the tree, looking at the lights.
And hanging out in the chandelier.

I'm telling you, we get real creative in our house with our elves! Just kidding, at this point, we've already forgotten to move them one night and we are out of fun ideas. Or, just too exhausted to come up with them.

I hope you've enjoyed your first few days of break too!
