Fall Q&A

Last week, Erika blogged a little Fall Q&A that she found from The Blended Blog. I thought it looked like fun, and it goes perfect with my "Fall" week! 

Alright, here we go!

1. Favorite Fall Sweet Treat?

anything pumpkin ;) 

Pumpkin bread, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin pie. 

2. Red, Yellow, or Green Apples?

Red apples (Fuji) and Peanut Butter. 

3. Favorite Fall Sports to Play?

I don't play sports, but I'll watch all the football! 

4. Best Drink for Fall?

Hmmm... my drink repertoire is pretty low. I'll go with a glass of Moscato after a crazy day or Hot Chocolate on a cozy day! 

5. Favorite Fall Activity?

I love our annual trips to the Pumpkin Patch!

6. Must Have Fall Purchase?

Booties. Everyone needs a pair of booties in the Fall. 

I also think everyone needs to have a cozy scarf. 

7. Pumpkin: Pick your own or store bought?

We always head to the pumpkin patch! Although, our local pumpkin patch just has all of the pumpkins out in areas surrounded by hay, so we're not really picking our own, but it's still just as fun! 

8. Real or Fake Pumpkins?

Outside- Real pumpkins.

Inside- give me all the fake ones. 

9. Favorite Halloween Costume?

I don't usually dress up for Halloween, but last year I decided to be "an overtired mom", and I personally thought it was hilarious. 

But, for my kiddos.....

My absolute favorite was when Gretchen was Little Miss Muffet, and Megan was the Spider that sat down beside her. 

10. College Football or NFL?

College football all the way. 

11. Fall or Halloween Decor?

Fall :) I have a few Halloween specific decorations, but they're very little! Stay tuned, because tomorrow I'm giving you our Fall House Tour! 

12. Raking Leaves or No Leave to Rake?

When DJ and I were engaged, he had a little duplex that had tons and tons of leaves. I remember thinking that I would surprise him and rake all of the leaves about a week before our wedding. That night, I lost a gold band that my mother had given me. Thankfully, my brother in law helped me find it! I'm still shocked that we were able to! Anyway, since then we've never really had leaves to rake and I'm totally fine with that!

13. Favorite Soup?

Potato soup from McCalisters or Chicken & Rice from Panera.

If I have to make my own soup, then I'd probably say a White Chicken Chili since it's so easy to make!

14. Favorite Fall Candle Scent?

We don't burn candles, but give me all the Fall diffuser blends!!! This past weekend I diffused orange, bergamot, and stress away, and it was heavenly!

I make sure I always have Nutmeg, Clove, and Cinnamon Bark in my oil arsenal, so I can create tons of Fall diffuser blends! 

15. Love or Hate Pumpkin Spice?

Love it!

16. Short Booties or Tall Boots?

Short booties in the Fall! And then I'll break out the taller boots in the winter. 

These booties are super cute!!!! I haven't committed to black booties yet, because they seem so dark, but I have all the heart eyes for these!

As we transition in to cooler temperatures, and winter, then I love a tall riding boot. 

17. Favorite Halloween Candy?

I will straight up swipe these from my girls' Halloween baskets. No shame. 

18. PSL. Yes or No?

Nope. 

19. Hayride or Corn Maze?

Hayride. I do NOT need to get lost in a corn maze. That would send any anxiety through the roof. 

20. Favorite Fall TV Show?

Hmmm.... I'm game for just sitting down and watching good sitcoms with DJ. I don't have a particular movie I have to watch in the Fall. This year, I want the girls and I to watch Hocus Pocus, but can you believe, I don't remember ever seeing it!
