Life

The girls start back to public school, and I am not ready. Well, okay, maybe I am. I feel like Summer went by SO fast, but then again, my kids have been home for a year and a half, and my house is in major struggle mode. Like there are little messes everywhere that need to be cleaned, and I just haven't had the time, patience, or energy, on my days off and while the girls are home all day anyway. I'm hoping that the first two days they're in school, that I'll finally get my act together and clean.
I'm not even sure why I took this picture of these two, but don't they sure look cute!
Gretchen came home from her extended camping trip with my parents. She had the best time and she was really excited to fly home by herself.
Megan has been working so hard in gymnastics. Her first competition is toward the end of this month, and she is ready!
Last Saturday, I took the girls out for some back to school shopping. When they were little, I use to dream of the day that they were all big enough to really enjoy shopping trips, and we had so much fun. It was cute to see the clothes they picked out and how their personal styles shined through each outfit. When we got home, they had a fashion show for DJ to show him how much money we spent.   all the cute things we found.
He had to run to Target that evening, so I opted to go along too, and we had one last little date night before the craziness of the football season begins.
Last Monday was rainy, so we just cuddled up and did nothing. It was perfection.
And we had a back to school playdate with a sweet friend!

This week is going to be crazy busy for us with work and getting ready to head back to school, but friends, we hope you have a blessed week!
