iPhone Lake Pics!

I have been a picture taking mad woman lately! I cannot get enough pictures of my honey pie's and the fun that we are having this summer! I did get my "good" camera out, but I haven't pulled the pictures off the card yet, so today, you're getting a little re-cap of our lake trip last weekend via iPhone pictures!
After the birthday party on Saturday morning, we headed to Arkansas!
I shared a few traveling tips the other day, but sometimes, I want to smack myself for getting in the car with the girls! They were all smiles in the beginning, but 4 hours is about all my girls can successfully handle, and sometimes, that's pushing it! The drive to the lake is 6.
We were so excited to finally arrive! I swear, the last hour in the car was awful, and the last 30 minutes, I had to squish myself in the backseat and on top of Gretchen in order to keep Adalyn from crying.

As soon as we got to Pops and Grandma Dee's house, we had dinner and got on the boat!
I let the girls stay in their dresses, and they each took turns driving with daddy!

We went to bed about 9:30 on Saturday night, and woke up the next morning for breakfast and Father's Day gifts!
DJ is the best daddy to my little honey pie's! I love seeing their interactions!

After breakfast and gifts, we changed into our swimsuits and spent the morning on the lake! Gretchen tubed like crazy; we could not get her off!

Adalyn stayed back with grandma Dee and took a nap.
She was SO happy when she woke up and she enjoyed swinging.
We went back on the lake, and Gretchen tried to ski! She didn't get up, but I was so proud of her for trying. DJ has always told me, like before we were married with kids, that his children will be skiing by the time they are 6. Gretchen attempted last summer, but got scared, but she tried several times, and I think she'll be willing to try again when we go back in a few weeks.

I may or may not have tried bribing her with a toy.

After our afternoon boat ride, we played outside until dinner.
Well, Megan did other things too!
