A Doc Birthday

Megan turned 4 over Memorial Day weekend and we finally got settled enough to have her birthday party this past weekend! Today, I'm sharing all of our decorations, and next week, I'll share pics from her party.
I made her a Doc McStuffins birthday shirt, bought her a Doc necklace, and she was all set to celebrate!
The kiddos drank "Chilly Juice".
And we kept it simple by ordering pizza; "Stuffy Flame-Cooked Pizza". I was just not in the mood to cook hot dogs or come up with another dish, so pizza it was!
The kiddos had their own Doc Vitamins with their dinner.
And individual applesauce to help keep the doc away!
Of course, we had Chilly noses.

Our party theme colors were purple, turquoise, and pink. I decorated our table with a turquoise plastic table cloth, and bought table decorations from Party City. The decoration kit came with the three table pieces and a bit of confetti.
We used the table for our "Art with Hallie" and all the kids made their own "The Doc is In" sign. I spent a few days before the party, glueing popsicle sticks together, adding a ribbon, and I printed off a photo for the kids to cut out and purchased heart shape and flower stickers for the kids to use.

For dessert, we had "Boo Boo Cupcakes". I purchased the cupcakes from a bakery and added cookie "bandaids". They were super easy to make! I purchased wafer cookies, a tube of icing, and flower sugary pieces and just "glued" the flower pieces on top of each cookie to resemble a bandaid.
The cupcakes were a big hit!
I found this game at Party City. It came with stick on bandaids and a blindfold and the kids were suppose to put their bandaid on Stuffy's boo-boo.
I made this subway art in a word document and just printed it off and bought a frame for it. We're using it in Megan's room now.
I put the subway art and confetti pieces with the party favor "Doctor" bags.
The Doctor bags were filled with little Doc trinkets and bubbles I found in Target's Dollar Section. I closed each of them with a Doc bandaid.
On our fire place, I added a purple polk-a-dot banner with two of Megan's Doc toys and a pom pom banner that we had in Megan's room. We turned on a Doc show while guests arrived.

Next week, I'll share some pics from the party! We had a really great time celebrating our middle!
