We spent Saturday in the pool soaking up the sun! My mom watched the girls while they napped, so I was able to enjoy some 'me' time for a while!
But, the family had a great time playing in the pool!
DJ threw G around in the water and she loved it!
And, I went down the slide- tons of fun! Although, I did loose my hat and sunglasses in the process!
MC chilled out in the swing at G's house before dinner. DJ and my brother smoked brisket. And now, DJ wants a smoker for his birthday on Sunday. I did tell my mom that I needed to one-up him, since I finally got my kitchen aid mixer for my birthday!
My cutie patootie niece was chilling in the bouncer seat before dinner. I love how she sticks her tongue out :)
After dinner we had our annual cake and peanut butter cheesecake! My mom didn't have the exact amount of candles since there were three of us, and we are getting up there in age. So she improvised- DJ got the '1' because he'll be 31. I got the '9' because i'll be 29, and my sister in law, got the '4 and 5' because together, 4 and 5 make 9 and she'll also be 29... yeah, don't ask how my mom came up with this.
