I shared in my previous post, the interesting paint colors in our house- orange and brown. Well, rest assured, Gretchen's room was painted as well. It's purple.
I know, that's not so bad, but she didn't have a touch of purple in her bedding, and seeing as to how it's custom made, it's not something that I was willing to get rid of!

Thankfully, we found that painting on the wall at TJ Max! It has butterflies and dragonflies, which one of her fabrics also has dragonflies. The photo also had the perfect colors of pink, green, yellow, and.... purple!

Once we arrived, I decided to flip her bedspread on the opposite side- a pink paisley. The reverse side that was in our previous house was pink and green paisley. But, I decided that purple and pink went together better than purple and green. So, the greens in the bedding are now accent colors.
If you have the ability to customize your bedding- make your bedspread reversible. So, you can easily change it when you get tired of one style!
