Well, friends, it is finally here! Last night and this weekend marked the start of the most important season of the year. I know, you're thinking it was because I had my first Pumpkin Spice Latte, and it's officially fall. But, no. It's way more important that Starbucks releasing their PSL and pumpkin everything being in the stores!
It's Football Season!
You see, in our house, we LIVE for football season. When I say it's our life. I'm not talking figuratively. I'm talking we live, eat, breathe, and sleep football in our house. If you're a long time reader, you already know that I'm a football wife, and I've blogged about it several times before.
And today, I'm sharing a few things I love about football.
Dressing up for the first game of the season is like dressing up for a first date. It totally sets the scene and the feel for the season. I meticulously plan my outfits and I may spend up to two hours just getting myself ready.
I'm not going to lie, we've been waiting for this day since last November when our season ended.
And yes, no one understands what our lifestyle is like unless you're married to it. I am so thankful for all of my football wife friends that really just get it. I wouldn't want to do life with any other group of women.
And, I have this shirt waiting in my closet for when it gets cool outside.
You see, home really is where the field is. We've lived in 4 states in 10 years, and every where is home.
And, I couldn't talk about football without sharing a few of my favorite pictures from football seasons past.
The girls were ready for their first game day last year! American themed dresses for our American conference team.
We love hanging out in the family suite. Lots of toys, lots of chaos, lots of little football friends.
And, lots of ipad time to entertain the girls, so I can watch the game.
Our suite can be crazy fun!
Adalyn's first football season! I always deck out the girls in team gear! From their bows to their toes, it's all about loving our team!
The big girls love to watch from the fence.
And, our very first football season at Tulsa.
Look at my tiny babies! Gretchen was 3 here and Megan was just a few months old.
And our family before the Liberty Bowl when we won the conference championship!
We cannot wait for kick off tomorrow!
That shirt definitely applies to you!! But I just ordered one for myself! So cute! Thanks for sharing!!
