Weekend Wrap Up: On Wednesday

So, you're getting our weekend wrap up today. Because life has been crazy! Anyone else?
We started our Friday by getting Megan dropped off at preschool. She had "red" day and decided that she didn't want to wear either of the red shirts she had in her closet, so we settled on this strawberry shirt and skirt. She later told me that a little boy called her Strawberry Shortcake.
I love these little girls! This year, DJ has been able to take Adalyn, which has been a life saver, and I'm dropping off the big girls.

Once I rounded everyone up on Friday night, I quickly made a pizza, got changed, and headed to the Tulsa Happy Oiler event.
Candace is a new friend that I've met through my essential oil journey.
Tyler, Madison, and Ashley were a wealth of information! I'll be sharing some of what I've learned coming up in the next few weeks!
Young Living has a Thieves spray product. I'm pretty sure I shared a few weeks ago that I used the Thieves spray to clean our table at a restaurant and then proceeded to spray Adalyn's mouth because she had found food on the ground and girl tried to eat it! The spray is used for cleaning, but it's safe enough to help soothe a yucky throat or keep germs at bay in your toddler's mouth! Anyway, Tyler brought up the guys to do a Thieves challenge and to see who could do the most sprays. The guy in the black shirt had 16! I love a product that can clean and is totally safe!
I also won this oil from the event! I used it Saturday morning because my girls obviously thought it was a school day and were awake by 6:30! Momma needed to wake up!

The girls and I spent Saturday morning cleaning and working on laundry.
We set out our football decor in our kitchen nook. (I'll share more later!)
And then the girls settled down to watch the new Annie.
That afternoon, Megan took photos of Addy.
And once DJ got home we walked to the park.
They played basketball- Look at that swoosh!

Adalyn swung.
And Megan made DJ drive the pirate ship.

We came home and DJ grilled steaks, Addy got a bath, and the big girls watched Annie again.
Megan fell asleep before her bath time!
On Sunday morning, I made pancakes and everyone sat around reading the paper.
That afternoon, I worked on two out of three of our football shirts for the girls! Kick off is on Saturday and I cannot wait!
As we were cleaning bedrooms Sunday night, I found Adalyn's brand new bitty baby like this! I have no idea how I'm going to get it off. Someone suggested a Magic Eraser, but we don't use chemicals.... I tried a stain stick remover, dawn soap, lemon oil, and it only faded a bit. I'm hoping we can send her to the doll hospital to have her fixed.
And then Sunday night, I hit executive rank on my Young Living account! I sort of freaked out! Ok, I a lot freaked out! I joined YL in June, and hit their 1st rank in July. At the beginning of August, I hit their 2nd rank, and then at the end of August, I hit their 3rd rank! I now have the chance to win their Aroma Complete which contains over 120 oils! That is just crazy to me!

So, we had a great weekend! The week has started off with a bang and we are making it!

How was your weekend? Do share!

  1. We had an unfortunate incident with a sharpie and a doll's head among other things (refrigerator, hardwood floors, walls)...Arm & Hammer baking soda toothpaste took all of it off. It may work for her doll's head too. I rubbed it on with my finger, let it sit for 20 minutes and then with a wet washcloth wiped it away. If it doesn't work - the AG hospital sends the new doll back in a cute box with a hospital bracelet, gown etc...my daughter loved that! Good Luck and I hope you have a great Football Season!
