Randomness....

We are getting totally random up in here today! But, that's what life is! A whole bunch of random, just thrown together, which makes us love life and our peeps. 

Addy was a happy girl one morning. I snapped her picture, and then I snapped one of her and DJ. Adalyn is definitely her dad's mini-me, and they're getting some great bonding time because he is taking her to school in the mornings, which has been a life saver to me!

Yes, Gretchen, today is a good day! I love this top that we bought her from Old Navy. 

Last week, we went to a birthday party at a local pool and Addy Pearl enjoyed her pizza! This was the first time that I didn't cut it into tiny bites for her- such a big girl!

And, this girl loves to fly! We played airplane before we headed off to gymnastics. 

I've been using lavender essential oil in my mascara, and I'm amazed at the growth of my eyelashes! Isn't this crazy! I just added a few drops into a brand new tube back in July, twirl the brush around before I use it and that's it. To find out more about lavender and essential oils, email me! I recently downloaded the Think Dirty app, which is free on iPhone, and I've been scanning products in our bathroom like a mad woman! Our toothpaste, Toms fluoride free, is a 5, but our deodorant's are a 9 on a toxicity rating scale with 10 being the highest. I figured that women's deodorant would be high due to aluminum, but it's actually because of fragrance! Fragrance is in EVERYTHING- our lotions, shampoos, deodorant, candles... y'all, it's killing us! If it weren't for the fragrance in DJ's deodorant, then his would totally be green and okay for him! 

And isn't it crazy that a woman's deodorant is so different from a man's in terms of ingredients?!

I'm determined to find a safer alternative for the both of us!

And, I whipped up a pain relief roller for DJ to use after his runs. He was complaining of leg cramps, and his knee acts up sometimes, so I was pumped when he agreed to put this in his backpack and use it!
