So, after last Tuesday, I dropped off the blogging Earth again. DJ was out of town at the coach's convention, and then I went out of town at the end of the week for a continuing eduction conference, so basically, life was cray. I'm catching up today on some Life Lately from a few weeks ago, so I guess it's not really Life Lately, but we're just going to run with it.

These girls were so excited to have matching jammies. They're actually hand me downs- Megan is wearing Gretchen's old ones, and Addy is wearing Megan's old ones, but none the less, they were excited to be matching.
The relationship between these two girls is priceless. They love each other, and Adalyn looks up to Megan SO much. They're definitely best friends, and are together all the time.

Gretchen received a Barns & Noble gift card for Christmas, so before we headed back to school, I took her to the bookstore so she could buy new books. She picked out a Descendents chapter book, and had it read within a day, and then picked out a book on Greek Mythology, so she could dig deeper in to the Percy Jackson books she received for Christmas.
Gretchen soaks up learning. She's on a 10th grade reading level, and definitely puts anyone to shame with the amount she reads and how fast she reads.

DJ was working late one night, and I didn't have to cook a real dinner. So, it was grilled cheese and popcorn for the win!
Megan has learned to swaddle her babies. This girl is such a little mommy. She wants to open a baby day care and take care of real babies. So, any moms out there want to trust my 6 year old with their kids, she's more than willing to take them!
And, this girl has gotten to be obsessed with baking and cooking. The other morning, I found her making all of us scrambled eggs.
Last Sunday, we took our weekly #andjohnwesleytoo photo after church. Megan and Gretchen just wanted to photo bomb, but Addy was all smiles she was able to get a sucker from the kindergarten class.
And, then we spent the rest of the day snuggling, which basically made for a perfect Sunday afternoon.
