While we were visiting my mom this past weekend, we met up with Lady with a Camera and had Adalyn's one year portraits taken. Even though it was July, I really wanted outdoor pictures of Adalyn, and she suggested a park just outside of Conway. I had never been there, but the setting was perfect.
Our first stop was this little bridge, which provided a precious backdrop. I love how it's fading away in the distance.
Then we went up and took photos in her tepee. I am so glad that she had a tepee, because I love them in photographs!
We changed her outfit and took some more pictures.
We also brought her ballerina baby doll that is so precious to Adalyn. She sleeps with her baby every night, and we make sure that it is taken on all of our vacations.
Addy ditched the doll on her own, because baby means bedtime, and went to explore the grass.
Adalyn's dress is handmade from Sew Much Love. The original design was a tunic top, and I asked her to make it into a dress and add a ruffle on the bottom. I simply adore this dress.
Her hair bow was handmade by yours truly! Find my shop here.
We changed her outfit yet again, and photos taken in her birthday party outfit. You can read about her party here and here.
I made the banner in the background as well as her hair bow.
My mom and I made her party hat.
At the end of our session, we decided we needed one more picture of Adalyn in her original outfit with the cabin in the backdrop. The colors mixed beautifully.
