It's been several weeks since I've linked up with Andrea, Narci, and Erika for Friday Favorites! But, that's because I've been busy recapping our Disney trip, sharing my love of Sashy Pants, and my love of Younique mascara! It's been a busy few weeks!
Today, I'm sharing my Favorite moments with my girlies over the last few weeks! You're getting a huge recap of what we've been up to since we came home from Disney, and then Monday, I'll be back to my regularly scheduled blogging with our Easter weekend wrap-up!
Once we came back from Disney, we stayed one extra day at my mom's house. That day, we took the girls to see Cinderella. Yaya (My niece) joined us (and so did her mom and my mom) and we loved it! We filled up on popcorn, slushies, and Megan even took a little nap! If you haven't had a chance to see Cinderella, you're missing out!
Later that afternoon, we moved the drive back to Tulsa, and two of the three girls passed out. Megan still had her hair done from our Bippiti Boppiti Boutique experience at Magic Kingdom! She would NOT let me take out her princess hair! She had it fixed on Thursday and I finally convinced her it had to come down on Sunday! That girl was serious about her princess hair!
We've had really great weather, so we've been going on lots of walks!
Addy Pearl broke her leg over Spring Break, you can read about it here, and this was definitely not a favorite experience of ours! When we returned home, we took her to the orthopedist and she was given a hard cast to help her healing, rather than the splint that the ER put on. Unfortunately, getting her use to her cast is not easy. She also isn't getting around easily, and wants to be held. This was our first night when DJ had football practice and I was home with the three girls by myself. Poor baby cried a lot. I had to put her down for a moment so I would have a chance to EAT! She fussed the entire time. Thankfully, the cast comes off on the 13th and that day cannot come soon enough!
Gretchen has been practicing her 'th' words with me after school! When your mom is a speech therapist, you get to work on saying your sounds correctly all the time! Gretchen goes to the school that I work in, and actually does have speech therapy. Thankfully, another SLP from the district comes over and sees her weekly and I just do some maintenance on the side. She was really excited to practice her 'th' words on the ipad! It's one of her favorites!
Addy Pearl's toes are one of her favorite snacks!
Last week, we had tornado warnings in Tulsa, and we had to bring out our crazy old mattress for extra protection- it was left in the entry way, and all the girlies played on it the next night. It was a super cute sister moment, which is always my favorite to see! They're going to be best friends!
Megan had her very first field trip last Friday to see Sesame Street Live! Her teacher sent me this pic from the school bus. It was Meggie's very first bus ride and she was really excited! She loved her field trip and has been talking about Emo (Elmo) ever since.
Addy Pearl loves her ballet baby! This one is her favorite!!!! We lost her extra on our vacation, and I have got to order another one! If we loose this ballet baby we will be in TROUBLE!
Friday night, Megan took Adalyn on a walk!
And Saturday morning we got ready to head to football practice. I let Addy make a mess in my cabinet because it kept her happy! I am all about keeping her happy right now!
My girlies on Sunday after church! They had a farm theme going on!
Sunday afternoon, we played outside and this picture of Megan made me fast forward to when she'll be 16 and driving away!
Monday night, Megan threw up twice, so Tuesday called for a sick day. We took Adalyn to daycare and Gretchen to school, and Megan and I did nothing but lay in my bed for the entire morning! Seriously, we were there from 9-1:30 and it was fabulous. We watched t.v. and played on the ipad, and she was the best little buddy to be sick with!
That afternoon, we went through clothes. If you're needing any girl clothes from newborn-18 month (summer) let me know! I have a ton, that I may post on here, but I definitely have them as public on my facebook page, and I am wanting to get rid of them! I've thought about putting them in the consignment sale coming up, but I'm going to be cutting it close and really don't want to mess with it.
DJ and Adalyn stayed home on Wednesday. Her tummy hasn't been feeling well either, and he texted me this picture of her sleeping on the floor. Sweet baby broke my heart! Thankfully she's feeling a bit better!
Thanks for stopping by today for Friday Favorites! I swear my favorites aren't usually this long, but I made two weeks fit into one post! Next week, we'll be talking lots about Easter, recapping some family traditions and our weekend!!! It'll be lots of fun, so be sure to stop by!
Have a blessed weekend ladies!

Sounds like y'all had a great Spring Break. We went to see Cinderella for my 10 yr olds bday party and she now says it is the best movie of all time! :) I'm glad I found your blog as I work in the school system too and it is always good for me to read blogs of other working moms, esp. those in education. We have Spring Break next week, but I am currently out with a newborn on maternity leave. My blog isn't updated all the way at this point (I've been a bit busy!) but would love for you to stop by. Happy Easter! Lana :)
