This week has gone by crazy fast! Thankfully, we are wrapping up state testing and we get to move on with the rest of the school year!
I started my Monday off right with one of my favorite floral tunic from Sashy Pants and my $8.00 earrings from Nordstrom.
After school, we ran home, and got Gretchen ready for dance. She decided that her flowers (from her boyfriend) needed to be put outside and then told me she wanted to start a fairy garden.
We had a fairy garden a few years ago, and I'll have to let the girls make another one! I just buy little birdhouses from JoAnn's and let the girls paint them. We put them in our flower beds, and tada, our garden is done.
Gretchen finally got her dance recital costume Monday night and it's definitely a favorite! She'll have two dances in her recital which is coming up in just a few weeks! This is her tap outfit, and she'll change skirts for her ballet dance. We are still waiting on her ballet skirt to come in!
Tuesday afternoon, DJ brought two of Tulsa's football players to Gretchen's class to be their mystery reader. Her teacher tries to have a mystery reader each week. She gives the kids clues and they have to guess who their reader is!
She split the class in to two groups and each player read to the kids.
Then, they did a big class picture. Gretchen stood in the back by her daddy, and he had to hold her up so we could get her in the photo!
Tuesday night, I forgot to get something out for dinner- thankfully homemade pizza and peek-a-boo games came to our rescue!
Wednesday was full of pre-bedtime snuggles and snack time! Definitely a favorite!
I told DJ that Wednesday night is my favorite t.v. night! We all watch Survivor, and then get the girls in bed for Criminal Minds and Nashville! Does anyone else watch these shows? They are definitely a favorite, but I cannot watch Criminal Minds alone because it scares me! Anyone else?
Thursday afternoon, DJ got off work early and picked up the little girls, so Gretchen and I were able to get straight home. He fixed dinner and then the girls and I made strawberry and blueberry muffins.
The girls loved licking the bowl! I think it was their favorite part!
In case you missed it, I shared my favorite make up products earlier this week, you can check it out here.
And last, but not least~
These spirit dresses are going to be a favorite this Fall! I'm taking pre-orders for them now over on my Facebook page! My girls will need the royal blue and white to cheer on our Hurricane this fall!
