Mother's Day Gift Ideas!

Mother's Day is coming up soon; you know, just in case you've been living under a rock! For the first time ever, I have already been Mother's Day shopping and have all of my gifts ready to be mailed to our mamma's! Honestly, I'm just waiting to see if my girls' spring pictures will arrive soon, so I can stick those in with their goodies, and save an additional stamp!

I thought I'd take a minute and introduce you to the women in our lives that we are blessed to call mom, grandma, whatever!

This is Nana, DJ's mom. She's currently living way too far away in Indiana! I am so blessed that she's my mother in law, because she loves deeply! Like, she wears her love on her sleeve and you know in an instant upon meeting her, that she'd do anything and everything for her family if and when they needed her. She works hard and loves hard.
Grandma Dee, is DJ's stepmom. She married his dad the summer that DJ and I met, so Grandma Dee has always been around! She instantly makes you feel right at home. Anytime we visit, I know that I can totally relax because she will take care of it all. She's a planner to the core, and has all of the menu's for breakfast, lunch, and dinner completed way before we even come in to town! She's very organized, and she makes sure that we completely enjoy our time when we're together.
Andy my mamma! I have way too many things to say about this lady right here. Like, I could write a book about how fabulous she is, but I will spare you that today! My girls affectionately call my mom "Gee" (rhymes with pea.) Gretchen couldn't say "Gran" but she could say "Gee" and that's how her grandma name was born. She is my solid rock, my foundation, and quiet honestly, my very best friend.

So now that you know the ladies, we get to celebrate in a few weeks, here are a few things that I put on my shopping/wish list for their gifts!

You all know my love affair with Stella & Dot. I knew that these ladies above need some jewelry in their lives. My stepdad always tries to pick out jewelry that my mom would love, but bless it, because sometimes he misses the mark. I always try to gift her with pieces that I know she'll love! She takes care of me, I take care of her! (And, I think it's safe to share this because I'm 99% sure my stepdad doesn't read my blog!)

I found these items at Loft and thought that any of them would be perfect for Grandma Dee since she lives on a lake and is out in the sun a lot!
Then I found all of these at Anthropologie and sort of fell in love with the uniqueness of each piece! From the measuring cups and spoons, the perfect monogrammed coffee cups, and the trinket dish and candle. It's all perfection!

What are you gifting your mom or mother in law this year?
