WIWW

Hello Wednesday! You may be my favorite day of the week because it's all down hill from here, and I'm not sure about y'all, but I'm looking forward to this weekend! I have big plans to finish up some projects and enjoy my little family.

I'm linking up today with The Pleated Poppy for What I Wore Wednesday. I'm figuring that an every other week WIWW post would suffice, and maybe give me enough time to get more outfit pictures together. And, then I forgot to take pictures, so my plan backfired.

But, I'll share what we have.
On snow days, and just downright cold days, I love being comfortable in leggings and a tunic. I've had some trouble over the past year finding tunics that were an appropriate length for my leggings. You know, shirts that cover my hiney. Anyway, one of my co-workers had on a tunic with leggings one day and I asked her where she found it. When she replied Target, I had to pick my jaw up off the floor. So, I ran to Target as soon as I had a chance and picked up two of these tunics for myself. And, y'all, they are the perfect length.

Since I did all of my own Christmas shopping this year, I had DJ wrap them both and stick them under the tree for me, so you may not be able to find the exact same one in store, but I did find this one from Target that is similar.

You can find my leggings here. Scheaffer at Pinterest Told Me To recommended these leggings years ago, and I picked up a pair, and y'all, I am SO glad that I did. I've made it through at least two seasons (maybe three?) of wearing them and they are perfect. The waistband doesn't roll and hides my tummy perfectly.
And of course, anytime it rains, I throw on my wellies
And then we had our first day back from winter break, and it was downright cold. I knew I wanted to be comfortable heading back in to my first work day of the New Year, so I paired my jeans  with a navy sweatshirt that I found at Gap last fall. Mine has a lace detail that I love! I couldn't find the exact one, but this navy hoodie is super cute too!

I've had my infiniti scarf for several seasons, but I found this one for y'all that's on sale for $15.00! #score

I couldn't find my exact shoes, but these are crazy similar!
I topped it off with a knot, and added earrings from Nickel & Suede
And dear friends, I'm in desperate need for a hair cut. I'm letting my hair grow out, and my bangs- oh gosh, I'm thinking that my bangs need to go. So, hair styling is either all down, a pony tail, top knot, or a little braid.

And, before we go, I did some window shopping for y'all, and i'm sharing a few of my favorites!

And if any of you have that Lush top, please let me know what size to order! I've been eyeing it for a few days now, but I'm debating between a small and a medium. If it's in women's sizing, I think I definitely need a small, but if it's juniors, i'm leaning toward a medium! Help!!!!

  1. (1) I almost bought that shirt at Target this morning, and now I regret it!!! I am going to order it today! (2) Are you growing your bangs out?? I love your side swept bangs! So much so, in fact, that I showed your picture to my hairdresser and told her I wanted mine cut like yours! You have beautiful hair!

    1. You definitely need the shirt! It is SO comfortable! I have it in the camel color too. And yes, I'm growing out my bangs- at least for now! I sort of have a love hate relationship with them! But, I've also had bangs for the past 10 or so years, so I'm thinking a change is in order!
