Wardrobe Wednesday: Halloween Costumes

Wednesday's are usually for us moms. I highlight clothing that should be added in to your wardrobe, but today, I'm sharing some cute finds that you need to consider for your child's Halloween costume.

I mean, if they aren't old enough to make up their mind already.

My big girls have their minds made up, and it looks doubtful that I'll be able to make their Halloween costumes this year. I didn't have time last year, so we went store bought, and it looks like we'll be doing store bought this year too. Except, maybe I can still convince Adalyn.

Just for fun, let's take a look back at last year's Halloween costumes:
Adalyn was the most adorable little flower pot.
Megan was a mermaid.
And Gretchen was an Egyptian princess.

So, if I still had a baby, and a choice, I'd be leaning toward......

this cute little 12 month Owl Costume. It's perfect for bundling up should Halloween be chilly this year.

And seriously, how adorable is this Unicorn Costume?
I have my eye out on pirate costumes because we are going on a Disney cruise this Spring! This Pirate Costume is a toddler size and here is one for older kids! I plan on heading to the stores, the day after Halloween to find a pirate costume for each girl!
Gretchen has actually asked to be a pioneer for Halloween. She wants to be something historic, and she's narrowed her choices down to a pioneer or a Native American. And since we already have a dress, she could wear, I could just buy her these accessories to complete her pioneer costume.
Pottery Barn Kids always has the cutest costumes for kids! This Peacock is no exception! And y'all, that treat basket could double for Easter too!
Adalyn is trying to decide between being a Flamingo or Elsa. I had planned on making her a Flamingo costume, and then I found this one to use as an inspiration. But, she's in love with Elsa, so we'll see what she chooses!
And on the other hand, this Gnome or this gnome costume are other cute options.

Megan is asking to be a Hula girl. I have no idea where that came from, but she's been asking me since late summer to be a Hula girl for Halloween. I'm hoping she'll change her mind, because I think it may be too chilly to wear a Hula girl costume on Halloween evening. But, she also doesn't have a back up.

What are your kids going to be for Halloween?
