Today is my 32nd birthday! What a year this has been! I was looking back and thinking of how thankful I am to have lived this year, how thankful I am that God has blessed our family beyond our belief. My family has been the focus of my year, and looking back, I know we've had a great one!
Right before my birthday last year, we became a family of 5. It's only with God's strength, and the love and support of those near to our hearts, that have willed us to survive, as I learned to navigate my 31st year with three little girls.
It was my 31st year that Gretchen started kindergarten, turned 6, and challenged me beyond belief. I'm thankful for her strong-willed, stubborn personality, because I know that she is helping to mold me into the mother that I need to be.
In year 31, I watched these girls become the very best of friends, and I know that their relationship will only continue to grow stronger.
We celebrated holidays, had movie nights, stayed up late, painted our toes, and shared so many laughs and giggles!
We cuddled. Because sometimes, you just need to stop, slow down, and do nothing.
We went on vacations this year, and I introduced my girls to my college home.
I had date nights, late nights, and fun nights with this guy! Thank you to my hubby for putting up with me another year. Thank you for loving me, loving us, and supporting all of my wild and crazy ideas. Thank you for being a go with the flow guy, thank you for being my balance in life.
I celebrated another Mother's day,
and watched this little girl turn 3.
Meggie has grown so much this year. I've watched her go from a tiny, "dede" loving toddler, to a loving big sister, and the best "little mommy" that there could be! She is shy, and sweet, and silly, and sassy!
We've been to the lake, and enjoyed spending time with all of our families!
And we watched this little girl grow and change in her first year of life. We've experienced immeasurable joy as she has joined our family!
I can't wait to see what year 32 brings!
Thank you to my family for being my backbone. Thank you to my friends, who are always there. Thank you to my family for raising me right. Thank you to my readers who come back every single day, and thank you to my customers who allow me to create and do something that I love!
