Well, at least in this post, we are still at the lake! I'm actually at home wishing I were at the lake today! After the 4th of July, we spent another day on the lake and celebrating Adalyn's 1st birthday! I'll be doing those posts as soon as I wrap up our vacation pics, which I promise will be soon! I'm blogging through the weekend just so I can get all of these up and stop boring y'all to death!
This is actually the one picture that I have from Saturday, the 5th that has nothing to do with the birthday party. DJ and I were in the house decorating, and a boat with two tubers drives by and we realize that Meggie and her cousin Amelia are in the tube together! It was hilarious because you could barely see their heads, and from what I've been told, Meggie stayed down in the tube pretty much the entire time!
On Sunday, my mom, brother, and his family came back over for one last ride around the lake.
Gee was getting some more snuggle time with her oldest granddaughter.
And then Gretchen ditched us all to tube some more. She was a tubing fanatic! She does all these little tricks including turning completely around and riding backwards, getting up on her knees, and then not holding on. She's a little dare-devil.
Once we coaxed Gretchen off, Amelia tubed, and then Amelia and Gretchen tubed together.
We could NOT get this girl back in the tube.
We finally stopped tubing and went on a little swim in the lake.
Meggie learned to "dunk" DJ and spent most of her time in the water making him go under water.
That afternoon, we took naps, and had a lazy afternoon. We went on another boat ride, Gretchen tubed some more, and we munched on left overs, and I did laundry.
