Friday Favorites

Oh friends, I am SO glad it's Friday!! I have been looking forward to this day all week!

You know why?

Because today, I have zero plans! It's going to be cold, so I'm taking the girls to school, and then I'm spending the entire day, alone. I'm going to do some self care, some laundry, some binge watching, some reading. I mean, today's going to be fabulous, because I don't have to take care of anyone..... until the kids come home :)
I'm linking up today with Erika, Andrea, and Narci for Friday Favorites and sharing a random little assortment.
First up, Salt Traders.

We went here Saturday night, and it was delicious!
It's a local seafood restaurant here in Austin, and everything is farm to table.

I had shrimp & grits.
DJ had Salmon with a Pesto sauce.

It'll definitely be on our restaurant rotation. Plus, all the girls got little dishes of goldfish before the meal, so they thought that was fun.

Exploring restaurants is one of my favorite parts of living in a new town.
So, you guys know that Costco is my favorite, and in January, our Costco carried lots of furniture. I mean, you can find everything at Costco.

We had been on the lookout for a sofa for our play room, and this was exactly what I was looking for. I'm obsessed with our sofa.

Is that even okay?

Seriously, it's the best sofa I've ever sat on, layed on, cuddled on, and napped on.
Monday night, we took the girls to our first Texas Women's Basketball game. They had so much fun!
This girl loves basketball, and we love showing our girls, that girls are strong and powerful!
This roller blend of essential oils is my favorite.

A sweet friend sent it to me for Christmas, and it's been my daily perfume blend.
This sweet girl read to me before bedtime..... she picked up a Wonder Woman book from the school library. I'm not sure how she became obsessed with Wonder Woman, but randomly, she'll talk about her and how much she loves her, but we've never watched a Wonder Woman show, movie, or read a book, until now. I mean, sometimes, she'll even say she wants to be Wonder Woman for Halloween.

Apparently, we need to find some Wonder Woman stuff for her.
On Thursday, Gretchen skipped school and went with me to work. I saw a few kiddos and then we had lunch and made a Target trip before heading home and her little sisters crashing our party :)

Anyway, that's it for our favorites today.... just a little list of favorites.

Have a happy weekend friends!

  3. I hope you enjoyed your "Me Day"! I need one so badly myself! Your couch does look so cozy and we are a girls/ladies basketball family, too! You should introduce your girls to Wonder Woman. She was my hero growing up and the new movie (released a few years ago) really is good. Enjoy your weekend and thanks for stopping by my blog!
