Happy Valentine's Day!!!!
I sure do hope that you are spending this day with someone you love :)
I thought I'd share some super quick and easy (a'hem, last minute) ideas in case you're needing some for tonight.
I set our dining room table up with a few quick and easy Valentine's decorations.
I used a towel as a little runner, some Valentine's votive holders, festive paper straws, red chargers, and paper plates from Target.
A few years ago, I found these felt envelopes in Target's Dollar spot and added ribbon and the girls monograms. The girls love to stuff surprises in each other's envelopes. And yes, they still have some similar to these!
We have a tradition of eating pizza on Valentine's, but last weekend, I made these heart shaped pastas for dinner. I found them at Costco :)
I boiled them... they're red on one side, and "white" on the other side.
I added chicken meatballs from Costco, as well as spinach, and pasta sauce for an easy, festive dinner.
Then, we settled in to watch a movie with festive popcorn.
Friends, this is SO easy to make! Just pop a bag of popcorn, add melted white chocolate chips, toss in candy hearts, red/pink M&M's, mini marshmallows, and sprinkles.
Toss it all together, and you'll get some bit sized pieces that are yummy!
The girls had several helpings :)
Last night, I made each of the girls a quick heart shaped sandwich for their lunch.
I stuck with a Valentine's theme, and gave them red fruit with dark chocolate chips. They also have a strawberry granola bar, Honest pink juice... and chips :)
Each of the girls have a little note in the lunch boxes too.
And this morning, they'll wake up to a cupcake cookie and felt rose.
And, speaking of roses..... Young Living has their Rose essential oil 15% off through today! You can grab your bottle here!
We're off to celebrate a festive day with the girls!
How are you celebrating today?
Happy Valentine's Day!!
XOXO
