Last week, the girls had an art show at their school. They've been talking about it for weeks, and were super excited about the art they made. We ran up Wednesday after school for a peek at their artwork, and then we stopped at their book fair.
Adalyn made a little fish.
And of course, Gretchen's word was "Book."
Megan did some paper weaving, and drew a unicorn.
Thursday morning, I sent them off to school ready to celebrate Valentine's day.
This was the first year I wasn't able to make it to their parties, and I was bummed, but I also knew that I needed to work, and while parties were a big deal at our last school, there not so much here.
After gymnastics, the little girls and I met DJ and Gretchen for dinner at Desano in Austin.
We're on a major hunt for a new favorite pizza place, and this one is coming in as a close first.
We're big pizza fans, and we had two favorites back in Oklahoma, and we're trying really hard to not compare, but it's hard! I'm sure we'll find one soon though... and in the mean time, we'll get to eat lots of pizza!
