A few weeks ago, I was in Salt Lake City for Young Living's Convention. There were 8 of us from our team who went together and had the best time!

Wednesday morning, we had a few classes, and took a break in Club Red, which is where they serve Ningxia slushies, Ningxia shots, and Zyng. There's also a dj which makes it super fun! You can't help but dance in Club Red!
I joined this company four years ago, and never dreamed that it would bring in an income for our family. I just wanted healthy kids that wouldn't be sick all of the time. Our health has improved and I'm earning an income. It's been such a blessing!
Young Living released the cutest little owl diffuser for kids! We've been using it for a week now, and the girls are obsessed! Megan usually sleeps with a light on, and because this has a night light, she's been turning off her light and the girls are back to sleeping in their rooms all night long!

So, a portion of the sales for the owl diffuser goes to an animal rescue in Utah, and they brought an owl in for us! The girls school mascot is an owl, so of course I had to take my picture with the owl to send to the girls!
My dress is here.
There was also the cutest, and shyest little barn owl.
Just a few of the ladies that went with me!
Our company is 25 years old, but it's still growing every day! There were over 30,000 people at convention this year, and friends, if you think it's too late to jump in and start a business with Young Living, you're totally wrong! There's never been a better time to get started because so many people are making lifestyle changes and realizing that we have been fooled by so many companies and their green-washing.
We may have hit up Club Red every day!
Abigail is an online friend, and I met her a few years ago. We follow each other on Instagram and it was fun to see her again!
Friday night, we attended a Friends themed pizza party.
And, there was a doughnut wall!
This doughnut was so delicious y'all!
Friday night, we were back at the stadium for John Maxwell. I haven't read many of his books.... I have one, but I couldn't get in to it, but after hearing him speak, I'm going to try again! He was so inspiring and gave us so much knowledge!
Every night was so late, but we had signed up for the 5K run for Saturday morning, and I really didn't want to go, but thankfully, two of the other girls insisted, so at 6 am, I was sitting in the hallway, putting on my shoes, and drinking this to give me some energy!
I was so glad these girls motivated me to go!
Saturday afternoon, we were exploring the expo, when I ran in to Alana Bookhout. She's a Texas girl, and I follow her on Instagram, and she has the cutest dad ever! I told her how much I loved watching him on her stories, and we face-timed him! It totally made my day!
Alana's husband is a big Texas fan, so I met him and invited him down for a game this Fall. It totally made his day! Ha!
And then I met Lindsey Elmore. She's a pharmacist and knows her stuff about Young Living and essential oils. She has a fabulous educational Facebook page you should follow if you're essential oil curious!

Saturday night we wrapped up with an Imagine Dragons concert. Of course I've heard their songs on the radio, but seeing them in person was amazing! They put on a heck of a concert!
By Sunday, the convention was over and most people fly home, but it was actually cheaper for me to stay one more day and fly home on Monday, and thankfully, it was about the same for several of the girls that were with me!
We walked over and explored Temple Square after sleeping in on Sunday.
And then we stopped for a late lunch/early dinner.
We spent the rest of the afternoon just hanging out and enjoying each other's company. There were so many laughs too!

So, I set a goal to close my move ring and Sunday night, I was short, so I hopped on the hotel treadmill before bed and finished a little over 2 miles to close my move ring.
And friends, I was up bright and early Monday morning to fly home! I'm not sure why I booked a 5:30 am flight, other than it got me home by early afternoon, but I was exhausted! Thankfully, I was able to sleep on my first flight and get a good breakfast before arriving back in Austin.
Convention was such a fun week, and I'm so thankful I was able to have the time away to go, and soak up being around so many inspiring women! My team lives all over the US, and it's so great to have the one week together. If you're a Young Living member, you definitely need to make it to convention at least once!
