November Fun

I'm laughing as I uploaded these pictures, because our November looked a lot like our October!

Lots of soccer and school football games!

October Wrap Up

The rest of our October was filled with more middle and high school football games, as well as soccer!
We had a blast watching Megan cheer on the sidelines.

She was also the main flyer for the year!

Adalyn enjoyed playing soccer and got so much better this last season!

Gabby enjoyed some canned pumpkin!

These girls had dress up days for Red Ribbon Week

We had dress up days at work for Halloween.

And they even had a dress up themed Immerse!

Adalyn went as a disciple, Megan went as Jesus- because in her words- no one can vote against Jesus at church.

And Gretchen was a leper.

I'm telling you, life with these girls is lots of fun!

On Halloween night, Megan and Adalyn went trick or treating with their friend

While DJ and I went to a high school football game.

Gretchen performed and all of the dance girls had on costumes- Gretchen went as a Swiftie in her Junior Jewels outfit!

Texas vs. Georgia

In October, Texas played Georgia at home. It was a game we were all looking forward to, and look we all know how it ended, but it was still a fun weekend!
DJ's cousin lives in Georgia, and he and two of his friends came in for the game! They stayed in our camper in our front yard! Friday night, we took them to grab some BBQ and then we drove down to the stadium to show them around the offices.

We get to live this life every day, and we are very lucky. One of my favorite parts, is briging people in and seeing the awe in their faces. It reminds me of just how blessed we are.

It was game day and we were ready!

A mix of Texas and Georgia dawgs ready for the game.

I try to make DJ's students a treat every now and then and this game day called for my ice cream cake!

The national anthem, and the flyover to let the game begin.

Texas had an awesome drone show that night!

And though the game didn't end in our favor, I still got my game day kiss.

And these girls still held their horns up to all the Georgia fans.

And we got our Bevo pic!

HOCO 2024

October was a busy month for the girls!!! Homecoming took over most of the month and it was really fun getting the girls ready, taking pictures, having friends over- picking out dresses.....

I've said it a dozen times, but having teenage daughters is really fun!
Gretchen's friend, Bella came over to get ready for the dance.

And all of her friends met at our house before pictures, so I had some snacks and treats for them!

We took pictures by the lake this year.

We bought Gretchen's homecoming dress from a boutique in Fayetteville when we were on college tours. It was very Taylor Swift vibes and it was gorgeous on her!

You can tell when she feels beautiful and I love that for her.
Her friends are beautiful inside and out.

This is one of my favorite pictures of her!

A few days later, Megan and Adalyn had their homecoming dance. Megan's friend came over after school to get ready.

Adalyn's first middle school dance!

She felt gorgeous too and again, there's nothing better as a mother than seeing your kids happy.

This girl always feels beautiful. I wish every single person had an ounce of her self confidence.

Megan has made some really good friends this year too. I love seeing her grow in to a teenager.

She is following right in her big sister's footsteps but also forging her own path.

Adalyn's bestie Ria also met us for pictures!

Megan and a few of her friends at the dance.

And Adalyn and her boyfriend, Mason at the dance.
