Friday Favorites

Fri-yay!!!!! This was the longest shortest week ever! Ha! We had Monday off and I only had to work four days, but DJ was out of town for a few days, and I managed to get run down and felt a little bit under the weather. Needless to say, I'm so glad that today is Friday!!!

Like every Friday, I'm linking up with Erika, Narci, and Andrea for Friday Favorites!

We are gearing up for a Disney cruise in just a few weeks! I'm excited to share the details later, but first, I picked up a Lilly Pulitzer dress from their sale a few weeks ago.
I had to try it on when it came on, and it's so super soft, and comfy too! This is my first Lilly piece and I was excited to get something bright and fun for the cruise. My original thought was to get a swimsuit cover up, but they didn't have any in the sale, but I figured this dress (similar here)could be worn either way.

Each January, we have a little re-entry time when football season finishes. Daddy's back, and the girls are testing their limits.
Last week, Addy Pearl went to time out, and I couldn't help but to think about how cute she looked in her little pigtails standing in the corner. Oh, this one is a tough little girl. She's feisty and spirited.
Last Friday after work, we headed to the gym to workout and followed it up with pizza night! We usually have pizza delivered, but I decided to take the girls out to Hideaway.
The girls colored, and were so good! We ate garlic knots, and yummy pizza, and Addy Pearl enjoyed some lemon.

We made it home just in time for books and bedtime snuggles!

Saturday, we had a predicted ice storm, which thankfully missed our area, but it was still freezing cold! We had a lazy morning, and once I got dressed, I knew I wanted comfy and cozy.
I picked up my beanie in Branson, and I've loved wearing it on cool days! I wear it running errands, running in and out of work, and on recess duty. It's the perfect winter accessory.
My favorite people walking out of church on Sunday.

After lunch, it was nap time for Addy.
We've been working on breaking her thumb sucking habit (again) and we're two weeks in, and she's doing great! But, nap time at home has been much more difficult. She puts up a pretty good fight even if I'm laying down with her. Thankfully, I won. And she slept.
On Monday, we introduced our Kids Book Club! Gretchen is so excited to be helping me with this monthly series and sharing her favorite books with y'all!
And, since Monday was MLK day, we sent Addy to daycare and the big girls and I stayed home.

Gretchen checked out a french cookbook from our school library, and she asked if we could make something out of it. So, we made crepes for lunch!

Big sister and I cooked.
Little sister reaped the benefits!

We filled our crepes with nutella, chocolate chips, banana, and some powdered sugar. And every single bite was mouth watering!
Tuesday night we kept busy with basketball while Megan was in gymnastics. Addy Pearl picked out her favorite snacks from the snack machine.
And Gretchen ran in to her favorite person! They may have interrupted his basketball practice a time or two!
And Addy Pearl was ready for school! Cereal (check), Juice (check), Sunnies (check).
And I was thankful that a blanket has turned in to a fashion accessory. Because all I wanted to do was to curl up with it and sleep on Thursday. Instead, I cozied up with my blanket scarf and sat through all day meetings.

That's it for Friday y'all!!!! We have a low key weekend planned, with nothing on our agenda, and I'm seriously looking forward to it!

See y'all back here on Monday for Mad For Mondays

  1. Timeout? How could any of those sweet girls end up in timeout?
