I'm not a big fan of Tuesdays that feel like a Monday.... and that is exactly what today feels like.... a Monday. Yuck.
Last week, Erika shared a new Tuesday Talk link up that she and Fancy Ashley were beginning.... an I wasn't sure I would blog on Tuesdays (and that I'd stick to a Monday, Wednesday, Friday blogging scheduled) I figured that it would be a fun little link up that I'd join in! And what do you know, I'm actually blogging a recipe on Thursday, so it looks like we have a full blog schedule this week- yay!
Anyway, the third Tuesday of each month, I plan on attempting to link up for Tuesday Talk.... and since there's not a set topic, we'll blog about whatever! Which is kind of up my alley!
Today, I thought I'd talk about my workouts.
Raise your hand if you decided to loose weight this year. Yup, me too. I even joined a gym.
It's been a sweet forever since I had a gym membership. Megan was a baby the last time I was a gym member, and when I realized that life was crazy, and I just wasn't in that season anymore, I dropped the membership and never picked it back up again. However, I knew that I wouldn't workout unless I was an actual gym member and made it a priority. And since I'm paying for it (and the childcare) it's becoming more of a priority.
So, I have pinned like crazy some workouts, and I'll take a screen shot of them, and complete these at home or at the gym. (PS: I was doing a lot of these at home before our Miami trip)
So, the spell your name workout was really good for me. I liked that it changes up, but y'all, I have two E's in just my name, but when you add in my first name and last name, I have even more E's! So, that's a lot of wall sits!
My college sorority sister, Melissa, posts on Instagram as @lean_nutrition....she's also a nutrition and fitness coach, and I love following her. And let me just add that she doesn't coach nutrition through a Beachbody/Advocare, etc. program. She's just a real life mom who shares what it's like to eat real food. So, she posted this workout months ago, and I screenshot it to my phone knowing it would come in handy one day. And when I was working out this summer, and before Miami (my workouts have always been sporadic) this one was a doozy. I worked my way through an entire deck of cards and was so sweaty after this one. It's a true cardio workout, and full body..... seriously save this one!
80 jumping jacks 3 times is no joke my friends. Neither is that wall sit.
I've screen shot the last two, but I haven't completed them throughout.
So, I have lots of workout ideas pinned on Pinterest.... and I'm even sharing a bit of my workout journey on Instagram.... search for #weltefitnesschallenge
And, I started an accountability group with some friends over on Facebook! It's been great having a judgement free place to check in, and we're able to cheer each other on in a no-pressure sort of way!
So, now that I'm out of my home, and in a gym...... tell me your favorite gym workouts!
