Life Lately

Well, this post was suppose to be posted about two weeks ago, and that didn't happen. So, I'm basically recapping the end of our February.
One Saturday morning, I woke up with allergies and didn't feel 100%, so I stayed in bed and binged Love Is Blind. DJ took the girls to the women's basketball game so while they were gone, I indulged.
They had a blast watching the game.
Sunday morning I felt much better so we headed off to church and this girl wore my booties! I can't believe we are wearing the same shoe size now!
And Megan looked adorable in her new romper.
When we got in the car, the girls informed me that Megan had an egg with her. A real egg. I kid you not. I told her that it better not break in the car and if it did, I would 100% deny to her dad that I knew anything about it. After church, she told him she had brought an egg, and she even took it in to the restaurant to eat with us. Shelli was a cutie in her t-shirt, cozy blanket, and car seat.
Addy has a sweet friend that lives a few doors down and they're quickly becoming inseparable. We headed off for an afternoon at the playground.

The girls celebrated Dr Seuss's birthday, so off the went dressed like little Cindy Lou Who's in their Christmas clothing.
We had a super busy Tuesday evening, so after gymnastics, I took the girls to In N Out for dinner, and Adalyn decided she wanted to work there when she's old enough.
And sometimes, we have to do homework in the car.
Later that week, Adalyn had her first sleepover! She was so excited!
These girls are best buds!
Addy came home around noon on Saturday just so she could ask me if she could go out to eat with her friend's family. We let her go, and she didn't make it home until 4! It may have been the record for longest sleepover ever! Ha!
The following Sunday, we all went to the last home game for the women's basketball season. The horns beat OSU and we were there for it.
Hook 'em.
I love these girls of mine.
Gretchen was in her school musical, Singing in the Rain, so we went to watch her and one of her friends tagged along with us.
My "fan #2"
This girl loves the stage and it's so fun to watch her in her element.
The weather was gorgeous last week, so we let the girls play and play. Megan practiced her back handsprings and back walkovers well into bedtime.
She's taking a few private lessons in addition to her normal 8 hours a week in the gym, so she's been pretty busy!

Whew! That was life lately up until the craziness of this virus broke out.

What The Welte's Are Watching

It's been a long time since I've shared what we've been watching; truth be told, I feel like I haven't been watching much because there's so little time! By the time I do have time to sit down and watch TV, I'm exhausted! But, I have found some shows that we've been enjoying, so here's, What The Welte's Are Watching.

The Bachelor
This week we finally heard from the women in the Women tell All, and y'all, I have never been more ready for a season finale than I am this year. I'm an avid Bachelor fan- I've watched since I was in college, and remember when Trista and Ryan got married. I mean, I'm in it for the long haul. But, I also read the spoilers every year and this year there have been zero! So, I'm super ready for Monday night because I'm impatient!

Friends
For some reason, I've been crawling in to bed and turning on Friends. This show will always be a classic and never gets old.

 MacGyver
DJ and the girls are HUGE MacGyver fans. Addy was asking every Friday night when it would come on again and it finally started a few weeks ago. So, for the last few weeks, they've been curling up together and tuning in.

 Love Is Blind
I heard about this show from several Facebook friends, so Saturday, I binge watched it. It's similar to The Bachelor, but better? The couples dae, sight unseen, and then get married at the end.

 American Idol
I'm so glad this show is back on. I've always been a fan.

 Schitt's Creek
Oh my gosh, I laugh at every single episode. It's not one that I watch often, but if I can't find anything on, then I'll turn this on and laugh out loud.

Friday Night Lights
I started watching this during the football season, and I'm finally down to the last two episodes. I've tried to savor this one, because I just "get it" and it's similar to the life we live, but I'm also excited to see how this one ends. It's a good binge show.

Alright, what have you been watching?

What We've Been Priming

Amazon Prime is definitely one of my favorite things on the planet. I mean, I can just order anything with the click of a button and it shows up in a day or two. Plus, it saves me from actually going out in public, so it's a total win.

Here's what I've been priming lately.
I usually buy my favorite yoga pants from Marshall's, and then I found out that they have them available on Amazon, so I hopped on and ordered two pair! I've needed new ones but our Marshall's is halfway across town and it's not always convenient to go, but Amazon is convenient! I ordered a pair in black and slate. Also, I should note these have a high waist band (perfect for tummy control) and have a side pocket, which I wasn't sure I'd like, but I actually do!

And psst- I ordered this workout tank too.

DJ mentioned that he needed new house slippers and since Valentine's day was coming, and I usually suck at gifts, I hoped on Amazon and bought him this pair. They are super cozy on the inside, have memory foam, and real soles. He's obsessed.

Gretchen is in her school's musical and needed a 1930's dress. Thankfully, Amazon came through and I ordered this dress for her. They also had it available in solid colors, but she liked the floral.

I ordered the Prayer of Jabez and sent it to a friend. I love that this book teaches you to pray for yourself and that it's okay! It's a short read and easy little devotional.

I wanted a new blanket for our dining room table- yes, our table. I have it draped over a chair and needed something that could work "year round." I also didn't want to spend a ton of money and this blanket checked off all the boxes. It would also be cute thrown on a sofa or over the end of a bed.

I ordered this sticker puzzle book for the girls for Valentine's day. Megan is super in to arts and crafts and I thought this would be fun and keep her busy. And, if you're going on a road trip or plane this Spring break then it's perfect to keep your kids busy!
And of course, I primed our Elderberry Gummies. We love this brand to help keep the flu away.

Addy's teacher has a classroom wishlist and this Math Memory game was on her list, so I bought this for her and a few other things on her list and had them sent to her. This would be perfect if your kiddo is in kindergarten or 1st grade and learning math facts.

We've used this dishwasher detergent for a while and I love that it has clean ingredients and doesn't streak dishes or leave behind a residue. I actually have this on autoship so we never run out!
And finally, I ordered these flossers because they're the only ones I could find that are fluoride free.

What have you been priming lately?

Life Lately

Um, it's been a while. I always swear I'm going to get better at this blogging thing and then life happens and the blog doesn't. Life has also been super crazy right now, so the blog often gets put on the back burner and I usually share more on social media anyway.

But, hello March!!! I'm so glad you're here because we will hopefully stop with the roller coaster weather and we get a week for Spring Break! We're heading back to Tulsa for a few days and I couldn't be more excited! We plan on seeing a few friends and basically eating at all of the restaurants we've missed.

Alright, here's a look at Life Lately!
First up, the Welcome Home starter kit debuted in February, and Young Living has extended the offer through April! This is a new way to enroll with Young Living and receive 8 essential oils! Plus, if you use your kit as your first Essential Rewards order, you also get a free Valor oil and free Lavender body wash!  You'll also have access to classes and group content so you can learn how to use your oils and a wholesale membership with Young Living. So exciting!!!

On Fridays, I've been getting in some baby cuddles! DJ's cousin lives nearby and her sitter just had a baby, so we're watching her sweet daughter on Friday's when I'm off. I'm basically soaking up the baby cuddles.
Megan was so excited when she came home from school and determined to be the best helper. She has always loved babies!
She also played dress up. My girls are obsessed with Descendants.
DJ and I squeezed in a quick date night, but not before........
a trip to Best Buy because he had to buy a blue tooth speaker for a coach.
Just a girl and her mom hanging out in the car riding through the carwash.
And this girl and her momma hanging out at home.
I walked out of my bedroom to find this girl in the living room doing her homework and eating a snack.... such a big girl :)
After her homework she even did some of my workout with me.
And again, we had this little cutie and the girls had so much fun with her. They both said they wished that we could keep her- ha!
Friday afternoon, Megan had gymnastics and Gretchen had play practice. We dropped off sweet E and met DJ for Tiff's Treats.
She picked out the yummiest chocolate chip cookie covered with chocolate, peanut butter, and chocolate and peanut butter chips.
Then we went to Old Navy and shopped till we dropped.

That's a look at a little Life Lately for ya!
