Our Last Game....

Football season is long gone for us this year, while in other aspects, it's still going strong as teams are getting ready for Bowl games, there have been coaching and staff changes, and we are now entering in to recruiting season. It was bittersweet to see the season end. On one hand, I'm so thankful to have my husband home and working normal hours. On the other hand, I'm sad that we aren't preparing for a bowl game this year.

We headed home the Saturday after Thanksgiving to attend our last game of the season. We usually skip this game, but I'm so thankful we went this year.
We sat in the stands the first half of the game, and the girls had fun playing with their friends, and dancing along with the dance squad.

And at half time, the senior cheerleaders, dance squad, and football managers and video students were recognized.
We're so thankful for the students that help DJ in the office. These young men are going to be incredible wherever their future takes them.
After half time, we made our way inside to the family suite and finished out the game.
Our season didn't go as planned, there was heartbreaking losses, and it's hard when you know how hard the players and coaches fought. How hard they worked. Knowing it was the final game for the seniors on our team, and seeing them team together, made tears sting my eyes. So bittersweet.

On to next season.
