I'm about two weeks posting about our Spring Break trip, but better late than never- right?! We left on March 14th after work and drove the 5+ hours to DJ's dad's house. The girls did pretty well on the trip- watched movies, ate dinner, fell asleep…. and we arrived around 11 pm. We finally got the girls settled and went to bed.
The next day, DJ's sister and her family came to visit, and we did some shopping in little boutiques around the area, and the boys stayed home with the kids. That night we made homemade pizza's!
It was quite a scene with everyone in the kitchen making their pizzas!

Gretchen and Pops (below) were having lots of fun while waiting on their pizzas to finish cooking.
After dinner, we celebrated Pops' birthday!
Megan use to be terrified of party horns, but now she loves them!
DJ got in on the fun too!
We had lots of cake and ice cream and then we opened presents!
Pops and Grandma Dee almost always spoil the girls with presents.
Z is just a few months younger than Megan, and he is all boy!
Gretchen put on a show for us that night. She loves to dance and entertain!
We got up early the next day, and Gretchen pretended she was a dinosaur.
Then we had a baby shower for my sister in law.
Addy got lots of snuggles from her nana!
After the shower we went back to Pops and Grandma Dee's house because it was cold and snowy!
The girls had lots of fun visiting their grandparents! It made us long for our summer days that we'll spend there!
I'll post over the weekend to try to wrap up our Spring Break trip!
